  • Social Media Followers Very Low - Created Club (Editor)

    Hi all,

    I have been re-directed to this section of the board.

    Every year I use the FM Editor quite extensively to create clubs, leagues, stadiums, cities - you name it. 

    I installed the game this morning and have spent time creating a fantasy team in England, playing in League Two - fallen giant sort of narrative with numerous FA Cups, League Cups and a European Cup. Reputation set at 5,000.

    The amount of social media followers (visible in supporters section of club info) the club has is very low - on one save it was 11k, and on another it was 16k, this is equivalent to a very low non-league team rather than a team with a reputation of 5,000 and numerous cup wins and league titles. I compared this with another League Two club, Hartlepool - who show 47k social media followers, which is much more realistic for a club of that size. 

    Would anyone have any idea on the inner-workings of the ‘social media followers’ algorithm?

    I understand this is a minor issue but it does diminish the immersion somewhat.
