When gaining promotion via playoffs with Bolton from League 1 to Championship, board sets the budget as if we didn't get promoted.
Happened to me in fm22 as well with Sunderland both to championship and to premier league, only happened when prompted via playoffs, when prompted from 1/2 place, budgets went as normal, but when playoffs budgets end up being ridiculously low.
For instance, my budget is half of what the 23rd ranked team is spending per year. 8m vs 4m a year.
When you ask the board, they also won't give any more transfer budget.
