    Hi

    So i've seen this a couple of times already but always forgot to save the match, but now... :P

    So after the penalty taker takes the shot and hits woodwork, no matter if it is the crosbar or post

    he stands there (freezes) and does nothing instead if trying to score. (the golie is already beaten).

    In this case the ball hits the crossbar and is flying directly back to the panalty taker

    yet he doesnt rly care :)

    That's because the rules in football state the taker isn't allowed to touch the ball again until another player touches it. 

    So if it hits the post and comes straight back to them, they're not allowed to do anything. This is why the player does not become active.
