What happens if you click position icon next to the player where the green is selected?

You are currently displaying player opposition instructions and if you click the button next to it, that should display the opposition instructions set to the position?

I believe then you will see what you are requesting

Ah okay, there it is, thanks! I knew I was misremembering/forgetting something. Did the way this was displayed change in recent years or did I just get confused?

It certainly would be more intuitive to see the results of your positional instructions on the actual lineup of the actual players in this screen, perhaps with a slightly different color or indicator to represent if it's player or positional, instead of having to click to view them as a separate filter.
