player wont accept his own suggestion for pre contract contract promises

I had this with Arezo as well when I approached him for the end of his contract. I fixed it by putting a bid in for him.

Seems like players sometimes aren't willing to accept their own demands when you approach to sign them as their contract expires.

The agent is asking you to use your initiative and add in more promises, that's why the contract negotiations are breaking down - nothing is changing in your offer.
