While the 3rd League correctly has a Play-Off-Match implemented if all sorting rules before fail and the equal finish is concerning "key positions", it is missing for the 1st/2nd Bundesliga. Source is §2/3./c/(6) of this document:

Visit German League rules in any game with the first two German league levels activated (or additionally the 3rd League as well, if you want to see the rule correctly implemented)
