    Downloaded twice now, Verified files and re-tried, unistalled, restarted and re-downloaded.

    • Steps To Reproduce:
      Click Play. (First Image). 2nd Window pops up for 1 second. FM in Steam goes back to PLAY.

    Can you right click FM22 in Steam > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files, for me please

    Done - Upon relaunching, I get exact the same issue.

    According to the DXDIAG you sent me you are running Windows 10 1904, which is not the minimum required version of Windows 10 to play the game. 

    You'll need to update to Windows 10 2004 (May 2020 update) or later to launch the game.

    The DXDIAG indicated version 1904, which is 2019 Windows 10. A Belarc file will be able to tell us better if you are missing any actual Windows updates:

    If you can supply that, it might give a better idea why exactly its not launching for you.

    To update:

    I'm reading the other threads here to see if any other fixes work:

    AVG - Execeptions were added for FM22, Restarted and verified the execption was still there. Attempt to open the App = Result was the same error

    AVG - Uninstall, Reboot System = Result was the same.

    Windows updates fully done, Nvidia Driver is only a few days old, re-checked, it's still the latest driver. Result = Same error.

    OldSchool Fix - Right click FM.exe and Set it to run as admin. Result = Same error.

    To confirm, did you uninstall and reinstall FM after removing AVG entirely? Isn't clear from what you've put above and just want to be totally sure.

    No, FM22 was installed verified, and left During all of those tests.

    I'll do an unistall FM\restart PC\reinstall FM now and update.

    Can you try launching FM from within Windows Explorer and let us know if you have any error messages?

    Nope, Same issue, but as no steam icon to show progress, I get no notification, no Error.

    With Steam open by the side, no change to the play icon.

    Repeated third time, this time as Admin, same error, Just does not launch.

    Can you press the start key, and open Event Viewer

    Expand "Windows Logs" and then "Applications", and look for any errors with fm.exe

    If you can share what you have in there that would be very helpful.

    Test #1 - Restarted Steam offline - Same error + Same error logs are produced.

    Test #1 - Restarted Steam offline - Same error + Same error logs are produced.

    Thanks - I can confrim that I can now open the game. I have loaded a test save with most of the major EU nations + Brazil\Argentina for my test save.
