You can make 5 subs, but you have 3 intervals to make them.

Subbing 2 players, 1 player and then 2 players, as an example, will work.

It does have to be 5 subs made across three stoppages in line with what @HUNT3R has said and in line with the competition rules. So for example, if you try to make 5 subs all at the same time that should work - can you check this and get back to us?
