  • Game pauses on penalty decision and won't continue

    Gameplay is fine until a penalty is about to be given and then it just pauses, I can go back to and navigate the home menus, do everything as normal on the game screen but it won't progress from the exact point of a penalty decision being made (For example if there is a foul in the box at 34:50 the game will pause then and even when I press the play button to continue it will not move from 34:50) The only way I can get out from this is to exit the game from the FM drop down menu and then reload from the last save which can be quite a few games back depending on the time of the season

    It is, last happened 2 days ago when I was last on it, Happens on all saves but not for every penalty and has been happening since the beta. Had been in contact with a few people from sega support for just over a month regarding the issue but the 7 days between receiving an e-mail and replying had expired due to being busy over christmas and not being able to play enough for it to experience the issue again and then to upload the rec file and save game file as requested so the case has been set to resolved

    Okay, @lewis1239 to help understand can you describe what you have done in any of the games where it has frozen?

    For example:

    - Has the penalty foul also resulted in an injury requiring a sub?
    - Did you have the tactics menu open/did you have any pending changes at the time of the sub?
    - Had you already made any tactical changes during the game prior to the penalty?

    Generally anything you have done during that match prior to the freeze even if it includes shouts, actioning advice from your Assistant etc.

    It's as soon as a decision goes to VAR for a penalty, For example I have just had it happen in a league game against Chelsea, Saka is pushed in the box as the ball is crossed in, for a few seconds the dots (2d gameplay) all move around like they would normally while the text at the bottom describes what has happened and that the decision has gone to VAR but then as soon as the penalty is given by VAR it just causes the game to pause and there is no way to continue it without closing the game and restarting from my last save point. No injury caused by the challenge, no tactics screen up and no pending changes for instructions or substitutions, No custom skins, Name changes, Kits or Badges loaded either

    Bir penaltı kararı VAR'a gidiyor. Karar verilir verilmez oyun duraklıyor ve play tuşuna bassam da devam etmiyor. Neredeyse her penaltı kararlarında böyle oluyor. Ve bu çok can sıkıcı bir durum :(

    Its a joke now, I've had it since the beta which I got the first day possible (22 October) so getting on to 3 months, its making the game un enjoyable because I'm having to remember to save before every single game I play or hoping there's no fouls inside the box otherwise its back to my last save I go and hoping the results of the games are the same otherwise it feels like cheating, I spent over a month e-mailing people from the SI support team and the furthest I got was sending multiple rec and save game files over

    Think I tried without using it before and it happened once, will give it another go though and hopefully it'll work for me (just had a penalty when typing this and it didn't freeze, hoping thats a good sign)

    Still happening without using cheat engine, not as often as before when it was every penalty now its every few but still an issue

    Have already uploaded these multiple times when e-mailing SI support but can upload another one as it has just happened again.

    Unfortunately the QA team have not been able to reproduce this issue. Is it something that is still happening for you? We're happy to look into further files if its still happening for you and see if we can find some way to get the issue to reproduce and understand what is going.

    Happened a couple of times since I uploaded the files for you on January 21st but the last time it happened was on February 23rd just before I sent the message so hopefully it's either somehow stopped or will only happen very rarely which I can live with
