As I am able to set in an offensive set piece two players to edge of area they surely won't be there standing on each others' toes? Couple of meters of width among them surely at all phases before ball is played in if they are anyhow decent players regarding their positional awareness. I have had i.e. Barcelona midfielders be like that clustered so it can't be their constant wrong reading of the play.
