  • Transfer won't complete because of repeated bid from other AI club

    I've been trying to sign Folarin Balogun to my Lyon side for a while. He accepted my contract offer after negociations about five weeks ago in game. Usually, transfers can be fully completed (or fall through) after 1 or 2 weeks top ; but in my case this transfer has been on standby for more than a month because Newcastle has been submitting an identical loan offer EVERY DAY at like 8:50 since I came to an agreement with his agent (see email list on the first picture). Newcastle's loan offer seems to get turned down by Monaco every day, but they keep coming back with it and it has been preventing me from going on with my transfer window for so long now it's really starting to get on my nerves. I thought it would quickly stop and he would either come to us or accept their offer, but he doesn't. This year there's the option to talk to the player and ask him to come to a decision quick : I tried it once and he said "Nah I'll just take my time thanks". I don't know what to do.

     

    In order to reproduce it, I guess you would have to try to sign a player who is also wanted by other clubs and hope one of these clubs comes in for the player after you agreed a contract.

    This was an issue we had earlier in the cycle but was fixed.

    If possible, do you have a save from before the offer was made? (11/7/24)

    I ended up continuing on anyway and he accepted my offer on deadline day, so all good on my front.

    Did you need me to link another save file, or was that just a suggestion for me to go back to an earlier point and keep going from there ?
