During the summer window, Oyarzabal came with a concern about goalkeeping depth, with 18 others agreeing and all morale hugely dropped. To diffuse the issue, I said I would look to improve our youth goalkeepers. They took the promise but morale didn't improve, with Oyarzabal still having concerns about goalkeeping depth, and the 18 players "unhappy with head coach's treatment of Mikel Oyarzabal" who's the captain as well. I went and bought Daniel Iversen on Deadline Day after managing to clear up some wage cap room. He is much better than the previous backup Gaizka Ayesa, who I kept as well. Depth concerns still haven't changed, head coach support is still poor, and players are still unhappy with my treatment of Oyarzabal. I don't know if this is a bug but it's clearly too extreme a reaction to a minor issue in the first place, and nothing changed after I solved it.

On the wage cap issue, there wasn't an option to tell them we have no wage cap room so we can't sign goalkeepers even if we wanted to.

    Hi @ayemee

Couple of points I wanted to answer for you.

The concern hasn't been solved - the players are still waiting on the promise that you've made about bringing through a young goalkeeper, if you'd promised to sign a new goalkeeper when you had the discussion with the players in mid-August, the promise would have been completed when Iversen signed.

Morale hasn't taken a big drop, the players morale is still good (as shown by dressing room atmosphere and most of the players morale being good or higher), the manager support has taken a drop because you have made a promise and then not delivered on it yet.

The wording for 'spt' probably should be clearer that they're just in agreement with Oyarzabal and also waiting to see how the promise goes, however some of those players will potentially drop their support over time as they don't think it's such a big issue. I've gone forward a month and had 9 of the players drop their support and the manager support return to halfway. I do agree that it's probably a bit too much of a drop in support and too many players supporting Oyarzabal when the issue is backup GK (as your first choice GK is still very good), so we will take a look into that.

    Cheers,
    Russell
