Carries over from FM23, happens at least once a match and never changes. I guess it might change if you set up throw ins manually, but that can't be the only way. Players really should learn to do better.
The issue is that a direct pass back to the thrower close to the byline results in an offside every single time... One example at 20min in the attached match. Of course it's offside, but it's nonsensical that players repeat this move every single time and just don't learn from it, and on comprehensive highlights I get to see it (and get annoyed by it) way too often.
A side note: On comprehensive highlights, what I see most (and way too often) is offsides, set pieces and situations that lead to set pieces. Very frustrating to watch as these situations seem to make up 2/3 to 3/4 of all highlights.
