As far I am concern, match stats does not update automatically when happens. Seems logical this one, if I remember correctly is due to highlights. I have noticed that in FM24 takes way too longer to be updated even if it's not a highlight happening. In my example, I have scored a goal from free kick in 7'. Until 15' has not been updated the xG stat. I have leave the game to continue, and not even in 22' minute has been updated this one.
Even league table in touchline tablet, takes way too long to be updated.

PKM has been uploaded. REC file, not sure if it's the correct one; but after match was the only one file inside this folder.
