As Wrexham in L1 I had an agreed transfer cancelled by the board because it would exceed the £180k weekly wage rule as per FFP. On the FFP page it shows this and I’m now aware of it.
The problem from my perspective is I’m able to adjust my budgets to exceed this amount.
I am trying to sign a player on deadline day and I am able to offer them a wage which will exceed the limit.
I don’t think this should be possible. In the same way the budgets restrict your available wage budget the FFP rule should supersede this and show the cap of what I can offer.
