The Inverted Wing-back translates to "内切型边后卫",which is confusing. The word "内切" is used to describe a winger who cuts inside from the flanks. So the translation of this role "内切型边后卫" refers to a Wing-back that will cut into the box from sidelines. However when the team is attacking, the player who plays The Inverted Wing-back will attempt to drift inside to play as an extra defending midfielder. And in most cases,we call this role "边后腰" instead of "内切型边后卫".

Dramatically, the new role in FM24,The Inverted Full-Back uses "边后腰" to be its translation. This new role will tuck inside and act more like a central defender like Kyle Walker in Pep's tactic. And we call this role "内收型边后卫".

So it is better to translate The Inverted Wing-back to "边后腰" and translate The Inverted Full-Back to "内收型边后卫".

Hope this issue can be fixed

Thank you for raising this we are investigating now

No worry Brian, 边后腰 is a very informal creation.

    内收型边后卫 however is worth considering.
