  • Changing Audio/Video advanced preferences caused match engine to blank out

    In the A/V settings I clicked advanced to reduce the match sounds volume by 1. After hitting save and returning to the match that was playing the screen blacked out. The commentary bar was still showing. Screen had full function but just couldn't see the pitch. Pausing, entry and exit from a highlight did not solve it. Only returned when back in the dressing room at full time. 

    The tablet did still appear when not in a highlight.

    Same thing happened to me after I attempted to change the camera angle. Only way to get the visual back was to go into tactics, click on a player to get out of the match, then click return to match.

    Done it three time during the match. Missed the very first goal of FM24 because of it….

    Step by step:

    In match engine with highlight running.

    Up to top right for setting and toggled sound settings.

    Went bottom right of the pop up to advanced settings.

    Changes volume of game sound from 3 to 2. 

    Clicked Confirm.

    Preferences change forces skin reload (Note, this is on default FM skin)

    Return to game to see gameplay black but overlays still visible, sound still running and highlights bar still working as normal.

    Tried clicking multiple options and only the dressing room scene returned it.
