  • Analytical team data partially resets settings when leaving

I'm trying to use the "Analytical Data" tool to review specific events of a match and am having multiple issues on filtering, the visual feedback of filters and consistensy of what is remembered and what is not.

The screenshots below are captured using a custom skin, but I've verified the behavior to be identical in the default skin. This is all documented in 22.1.1 version of the game image.png.e5f9de4555160445c625c18a56269a48.png

    1. Go to a previous match and into the match. Click the "Analytical Data" button.
    2. Switch to the "Teams" tab.
    3. In this example, lets expand the Passes section and select "Pass - Intercepted"
      image.png.a332584b3a0c0526e9b11515e41d4147.png
We can see that we find 43 intercepted passes.
    4. Now let's deselect short and medium length by clicking the two buttons for this in the bottom section, as well as select "Defensive half" in the "Pitch Area" section. Let's also select the first 45 minutes by clicking the "First Half" text

This  leaves us with a single intercepted pass. And if you look closely, there is a small effect to clarify that we only show long events in defensive half. We can also see that the timeline shows that we're looking at events between 0 and 45.
    5. Now let's view this single event by hovering on it and click "Watch Highlight"

    6. Once the highlight is over, we're back in the Analytical Data tool

We can see that the map looks the same as when we clicked to view the highlight. However, all sections on the left are collapsed, but if we click to expand passes again, we can see that "Pass - Intercepted" is still highlighted, so the collapsing is inconvenient more than breaking.  If we look closely, we can see that the number of "Pass Completed" events are higher than before we clicked to watch the highlight however.

If we look below the map at the various filters however, they appear completely reset.

The timeline is 0-90, the "All" pitch area is highlighted, long, medium and short events appear highlighted, but as we could see, it's only showing a single event? So here's lot's of confusion; the timeline is actually reset (reported as a bug here). If you're trying to analyze events in a specific section of a match, you have to re-set the timeline after viewing each highlight. The other settings (pitch area, direction, length) are actually still being applied, but not shown as such.
    7. Click "First Half" to re-set the timeline to be 0-45 again. Verify that the number of events now matches what we had before we clicked to watch the highlight.
    8. Click the "Short" length filter button. It becomes faded, but the number of events is not affected in any way.
    9. Click it again. Short events now actually show, even though the interface looks identical to when we were in step 7.

    Some further notes:

    • While I used "Watch Highlight" in step 5 of this walk through, the behavior is the same if you leave the analytical tool in other ways too. Switching tabs to "Summary" or "Players" does not reset anything, visually or actual, but clicking "Ok" in the bottom right of the Analytical Data tool and opening it again brings you to the same result in step 6.
      • You can even close the match you're viewing, go to analyze another match, and the settings are still being applied and not reflected in the UI.
    • Side filter (home, away, both, at the top of the map) is not  reset, neither visually nor actual.
    • In step 6, I explain that the sections are collapsed when leaving the tool. If you check the checkbox to show all  events of that section, the section is always expanded on re-opening the tool, regardless if you left it open or not.
    • "Linked Events" are not retained when re-opening the tool. If you watch a highlight or click ok and return, linked events are not shown anymore.

    • Steps To Reproduce:
      1. Open analytical data tool
      2. Show any team data, use filters to make a smaller selection.
      3. Leave the tool, either by clicking "Watch Highlight"
      4. Go back to the team data.
