Hello and welcome to Survivor: FM 2009 Edition, I'm your host Robert Jones. Tonight sees the beginning of a new era here on Survivor. 12 clubs have been created by South African multi billionaire Oshi Shalakoki, he has set aside £200 million to each of the clubs, to be spent as their trustees see fit.

Now heres where you come in, all 12 clubs require a trustee and the first 12 viewers to send their applictions into www.Imamug.co.nr will become trustee and founder of their very own club, it's an opportunity of a lifetime, will you take it?

Now it's time to throw some rivalry into the pot, the league will be split in half, 6 teams will make up the Bandits, the other 6 will make up the Pirates, after all trustees have been decided a draw will be made to see who goes where.

At the end of each season OShi will donate a further £40 Million to each group, the members of the groups will then decide what to do with the money (Put it in the transfer budget, wage budget, expand stadium etc.) and I will then fix it using FMM.

The £50m doesn't have to be spread out, if there's one club close to dominating and the group want to push it to the top they may put the majority on to that clubs shoulders and vice versa with struggling clubs.

So will you be the saviour of your chosen group or will you proceed to destroy any good work made by your fellow members? Only time will tell.

RULE CHANGES: last time this was attempted it was, in my opinion, tainted by the fact that so many teams were using up to a full team of wonderkid creations, as a result there will be a limit of TWO made up players, if anyone tries to use more than two it will be ignored and the money spent on that player will NOT be reimbursed to the transfer fund.

I want to keep this running properly this time instead of giving up due to the huge task of the last attempt, therefore this time there will be one task per season rather than one task per month, updates will be at the end of each transfer window and at the start of the season, these two changes should result in updates being more frequent and the sign up lasting to the end as it will be a much more manageable size for me.

Next, co-operation and interacting is a must, this sign-up depends on users interacting together well and having just one member of the group never posting can damage the team as a whole, to try to counter this I will only allow people that I know will post regularly or that posted regualrly in the previous iteration to sign up and if a user doesn't post within 4 days of an update they will be replaced.


Lastly, I would like to apologise to the patient members of the last version for its swift end, it was simply too much work for me at the time trying to maintain a demanding sign up and balance it with other things in my life, it had to take a back burner.

Task one

Start it mean, keep them keen. For the first challenge we will watch as competitors run through caves littered with critters, snakes and rats collecting stars, some of the gruesome tasks faced will include diving headfirst into an eel infested underground lake and diving down into the murky water to find three boxes, about the size of a fist, each will contain just one key to the chest, after that they will get their hands sticky as they go feeling around inside a cave wall, with rats, snakes and cockroaches in of course, 3 of the 6 will contain the remaining 3 keys, once all of the keys have been collected the competitors will then race towards the finish and insert the keys into each lock around the chest and will then receive their reward, but only if they do it quicker than the other teams of course.

Football Manager terms: The team (bandits, pirates or merchants) that collects the most manager of the month awards through the whole of the season will win the first task.

I must say I am happy with the start by JBerg, hopefully it now pans out, as for my players I have to say impressed to see the loaning of Johan Carrosa, he is currently starring for my AD Fafe squad in my JoseRR's challenge and is definitely a great Keeper of the future, a little young right now, but hopefully the Jberg boys can sign him properly after the loan ends, once he sees our quality.

Nice first up challenge, just interestingly, why do the Pirates only have 3 teams? hopefully we can achieve the goal even with this.
Go The Pirates, we have a good start lets just keep on plugging, 4th, 6th and 10th. No one in serious trouble, but no one competing we need to improve that.

TaylorB: Well obviously I'm gutted that I'm out first, let's face it it is the nightmare scenario when you go into a reality show, on the other hand I gave it my best shot but in the end I obviously wasn't good enough so at least I haven't grown too attached to my teammates, I'd like to wish the whole of Team Bandits luck and I wish them all the best in the competition.

9th place, at least I've stayed up. Interesting policy by the manager, signing 1 player Hope the Bandits can do better in the next task.

At least my created player was 2nd top goalscorer, the one positive from the season.

Sorry about the kits mate, alot of people tend to get mixed up choosing the foreground/background kits so I usually go for what looks best in my opinion if the results look a bit strange to me but if I can I'll change them round for you

Phew. Survuved this year. After the first part of the update I had lost all 3 games.Was thinking it would eb a struggle, but it seems the team turned it around ok.

Loving Gordon Strachan at the helm. No manager of the months for him though. Shame.

What an abolute disaster, I put all my faith in....... Frank Rijkaard, Only for him to sign me....... 4 players, and lead me to...... 2nd last on the table. WHat a horrible start. Expecting big things in the next season otherwise I predict to be evicted very very very soon!

above my expectations (esp with such a small squad)
but Haowan tore up the league, top scorer!

as for the prize, if Haowan's contract is less than 3 years then I'll have +2 years on his contract, if it isn't then I'll have +10,000 for stadium seating.
