Porph - Iprottafelag Reykjavikur - End of season review 2015
Media Prediction: 1st Actual Position: 1st We started well, winning the Upper League cup without conceding a goal. Olafsson was on fire and quickly attracted interest before making a ![]() We faltered in the cup and were promptly knocked out in the 4th round as we struggled to find a replacement for Olafsson up front. Squad Finances - Europe brought much needed cash but we also sold players to the tune of £3.2m whilst spending £1.4m on new signings. Again, the top 5 performers: Bjorn Sigurdarson - Not so prolific and unfortunately missed most of the important European games. Still an excellent season. Emil Vilhjalmsson - Another solid season. Gunnar Olafsson - A threat all season and now worth £1.4m. If we had a big targetman upfront he would have picked up even more assists. Arni Hauksson - Really solid at the back and is comfortable on the ball. Einar Leifsson - Good season despite wanting to leave and has now sealed a £2.2m move to title rivals Fylkir. Next best offer was £1m to go abroad so I'm OK with that. Europe Some great performances in the qualifying rounds as detailed previously brought Champions League group stage football in which we had an extremely tough group! Very pleased to have come out with a point. We even took the lead against Utd, Milan and Hamburg in 3 of the games we lost! ![]() Coefficient: 344th IR 13.084 26th Iceland 24.500 Next Season Unfortunately a number of players were unsettled by European clubs throughout the season which severely affected the squad harmony. With Leifsson and Neilsson gone I brought in cultured 18yr old centre back Bjarni Ivarsson who looks excellent although he may end up better at DM. To replace Neilsson I brought in Axel Birgisson. With the increase in reputation and funds, we have turned professional and the board have lifted all scouting restrictions. Unfortunately I forgot to renew my scouts' contracts (it fails to remind you of staff contracts running out) and out went all my 20/20 and 19/19 scouts. They have also approved training and youth facility upgrades but they haven't happened yet. Next season I will be aiming to make the CL group stage again and from there, we'll see.. |

Good season there porph can i just say that great signing on Bjarni Ivarsson he looks alot better than Leifsson at centre back and he can also fit in at DM when you get an even better centre back. Keep up the good work mate progress is inevitable

G. Keenan's SC Young Fellows Juventus- Swiss Super League- 2023/2024 End of Season Update
Media Prediction: 1st Actual finish: 1st Review: We had by far our best season in the league this year racking up 101 points and 111 goals with a +93 GD, Schuster was unbelievable scoring 44 league goals with a 7.72 average rating. Our performance in the Swiss Cup was weak though as we were knocked out on penalties in the 3rd round and we also lost to Inter in the Champions League 1st Knockout Round. League Table Graph Squad Transfers Finances I think I may need to start taking better care of my finances as we made a £13.25m loss for the last financial year, whoops .Manager History: Code:

Gareth, Well done with another Swiss title. Have you got any really loyal players with you currently, ones that have been with you for many seasons?

Lillehammer Season Review 2017
Well what a season! As some of you may be aware my visits to the chiropractor have now stopped as i have managed to rid myself of my -£15 million debt, thanks to my very generous new board ![]() This has meant that for the first time ever i have now got a transfer budget. Hooray!!!!! Players Well i decided to really scour the Norwegian U19's, U20's and U21's. This has meant i have really strengthened my squad with young players, particularly up front. I've bought in 4 new strikers, a GK and a new MC. All of whom are joining on the 1st Jan, ready for next season. So we'll see what happens here. League Predicted - 16th Finished - 6th (on goal difference from 5th) In all honesty we did far better than i thought we would and certainly improved on our 12th place finish last year. Sadly, we missed out on Europe, however i'm not too downhearted and certainly hope with my new recruits that there are better things to come. When i've finalised my squad for next season i'll post screenies of our new boys ![]() Norwegian Cup 1st round defeat to Moss in extra time............enough said Aims for next season: Qualify for Europe Make money Strengthen squad

cookie nice season there, and glad to be back where I belong!!
rlipscombe you're such a sheep following me here ![]() Gareth you seem to have done brilliantly over in Switzerland, KUTGW. Oh and I'd love to see a screenshot of Franz Schuster On the Slavonija front, its been a slow start what with Friday night being yesterday - the day I announced my return... But I'm getting into it now, and beginning the tough search for staff and players to populate beautiful Slavonija. Oh and aaberdeenn , come join me in Croatia, for old times sake.....!

It is certainly more realistic and it is taking longer to achieve success, which in my opinion, is no bad thing. If you look at how Porph is going, in particular, he is doing amazingly well when you take into account the fact that he is only allowed to scout in Iceland! I do believe that this challenge is definitely one for people who are willing to put the hours in, i doubt anybody will get success in this challenge in consecutive seasons (winning everything in 5/6 seasons!) But hey, what do i know?

So far about 8 days playing time, in season 2016/17 and dont look like im moving anywhere fast. So it defiantely is a challenge for those who are patient and willing to put in alot of game time and sometimes get nowhere with that time.

Lillehammer recruits for the 2018 season
Storbaek (http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/o...8/storbaek.jpg) A young Norwegian striker who is, i'm hoping, is going to develop into a very useful player in the future. Halvorsen (http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/o.../halvorsen.jpg) A super striking prospect, who i imagine will be a hit this year!! Engen (http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/o...2008/Engen.jpg) My star striker for the season. Looks like he's going to bag me a few goals this year, here's hoping. Kytola (http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/o...008/Kytola.jpg) This is a 17 year old MC that was spotted my scout in Finland and cost me £20k, my belief is that he will develop into a hell of a player once his stats improve. Pettersson (http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/o...pettersson.jpg) Another Norwegian U18 striker who is going to get better and better. Skistad (http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/o...08/skistad.jpg) A super young GK who is likely to be my first choice from the outset. And the pick of the bunch in my opinion.... Sivertsen (http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/o.../sivertsen.jpg) My free signing of an MC who i think in years to come will develop into a full international. My Ass Man (coach of the Argentina National team) reckons he is gonna be a star of the future, let me know what you think.

I've just had a funny one...
Brann offered me their want away winger Erik Huseklepp for 2.9million! Bear in mind I'm still in my first season in the 2nd division! Think it's because he's on my shortlist. |

so i am taking my first steps into Gundo FM09 in the Ukraine, as manager of CSKA Kiev
Profile1 Porfile 2 (couldn't remember which i needed...) Initial Squad i have progressed through to the early season, and will post more tomorrow..... i will say though that i am gambling with finances somewhat and over-stretching my means a bit in order to improve the squad..... hopefully the gamble will work off in the long run.....

Beat M.Haifa of Israel 1-0 on agg. to reach the 4th round qualifying of the Euro cup. Was knocked out of the Icelandic cup in the Q-finals with the league going quite well (currently top).
and of all the teams I could have faced in the 4th Q round I ended up with BARCELONA http://img60.imageshack.us/my.php?image=helpgy9.jpg - I can't see me reaching the group stage somehow, although should get some nice cash. Last edited by Azeryk-; 11-01-2009 at 00:03. |

H. Umm el-Famm 2010-2011 Update
Where to start... the players in the Premier League, especially on the top teams, were MUCH better than my players, so in came 11 new signings, most of who went straight into the first 11. I also filled my entire international quota with abundantly mediocre foreigners, and last year's star keeper was replaced with a better youth player from a fellow Premier League team. I had confidence in our ability to stay up, if we could avoid serious injuries. The season began with to 3-0 losses as the team tried to gel, but things improved as the season went on, and we finished in a solid 8th place. As a side note, I still don't understand this strange league where some teams play more games than others (have a look at the table). ![]() On to next season! Heusden-Zolder, Belgium - Second League - End of season update 2015-16.
April 17th, 2016 Mid-season table End of season After a season in the top division, we failed to make any sort of impact back in the Second division. I didn't strengthen the squad in the summer, assuming one or two classy loan signings would be enough to mount a serious title challenge. We failed to get any classy players on loan though. Apparently our reputation hasn't gone up all that much yet, and our parent club wasn't any help either - the board arranged a deal with Vfb Stuttgart, who have only grey reserves. Still, even without the loan players I was planning on, I figured we'd be strong enough to play for the marbles, but apparently I was mistaken. As I mentioned in the mid-season report, the "dressing room atmosphere" was particularly iffy this season. That didn't improve in the second half of the season. Despite a decent start after the winter break, morale kept plummeting, aided by/resulting in (not sure which, probably a bit of both) pretty much every non-first-eleven player nagging about first team football, with regular transfer requests. And so we finish 6th, never in contention for a playoff spot, pretty much leading the mid-table pack. A slightly frustrating mediocre season. The board expected a playoff spot, which we didn't deliver, and with the team spirit bar completely empty they're slightly disappointed, so I'll have to make sure not to slip up too much next season. Belgian Cup Two easy early rounds and then drawn against Standard in the 6th Round - board objective achieved, but nothing worth mentioning. Finances As expected, the finances were rather poor this season. With the 50k/month loan payments after last year's stadium expansion, there's no way we'll even come close to breaking even while in the Second division, so promoting as fast as possible and establishing ourselves in the top division is what we need to do. The board expanded the stadium again this season, which means we'll dive into the red in the summer already rather than next winter, but at least we'll be all set for when we do promote again. Despite the looming debts, I hope our wage budget will be raised a bit next season, but if it does, I doubt it will be a substantial raise. The squad. Largely the same squad as last season, so the key picks aren't new: Amaury Vrancken - ST A talented kid, and our only consistent striker (and one of few consistent players) this season. After his second season at the club, he's just a few goals away from the club's all-time goalscoring record - though that says more about the consistency of previous strikers than about the player. Niek Braun - DC The top youth pick after my first season in charge of the club, and he has evolved into one of our best players and the rock at the back. Once we promote again and settle down in the Pro League, he may be a touch too limited, but until then - and that could be a few more seasons - he should be a near certainty. Next season... A push for the title and/or promotion would be preferable, especially considering our finances, but after this season, I'll settle for "progress" next season. Fixing the "dressing room atmosphere" problem will be the main task. That means I'll probably clear out all the 22-25 year old unhappy squad players and backups, and replace them with fresh, motivated youngsters. Most of the starting eleven will be staying, except our left mid, unless I can convince him to sign a new contract in the next two months. That said, while I feel the current starting eleven is strong enough to challenge for promotion, I certainly won't hesitate to strengthen the squad if the opportunity arises. Hopefully a major squad overhaul can set the club on the right track again. Code:

Franz Schuster- Profile, Personal, History. I think his personallity (unambitious) has probably helped me keep him this long despite several bids from top European teams, (assuming the player personalities do actually have an affect on the game as opposed to just being there for show, of course). And I've only had one other player that's been with me for 10+ years and that's this guy: Philippe Schultz- Profile, Personal, History. It's pretty awesome that the two players that have been with me longest are both youth products, I almost wish I still had my old crappy youth facilities actually as I seemed to get much better youth intakes then than I do now. The rest of my squad has been a revolving door with either my chairman selling my best players over my head or me selling them as I rose through the ranks due to them not being good enough any more. Oh and good luck to rlipscombe. EDIT: I forgot to add, Schuster just got his 100th cap!!! I've never, ever had one of my youth products win 100 caps. Schuster is definatly the first legend in this challenge IMO, especially given he's a regen. makes it even better. The fact he's stayed all his career is fantastic. to score 20+ goals every season except the first too is outstanding.

Slovenia, Slovakia, Belarus or Hungary??
It might sound strange after my last post buuuuut I'm not feeling the love at Slavonija this time. It feels wrong to be back there in a way. So its all down to you guys, which nation should I begin again in? It has to be Eastern European and from one of the 4 above - first country to get 3 votes, gets the nod ![]() Over to you guys........ |

Ok guys given that I'm desperate to get started and that I'm holidaying in Belarus I think I'm going to start there
Thanks for the input though. Also Gareth - is Schuster favoured personnel, icon or legend? (I'm hoping legend )And again - has anyone completed the challenge yet?? |

Ok cheers Gundo
The Belarusian league format is odd. Holiday year the top flight had 16 teams and the 2nd division had 14. In the 2nd season its reversed

Right I'm away and here is the all important Personal Screen
Zvezda BGU Minsk appear to be a decent team to have come up. They are worth 275k which appears to be about average for the division. We are professional already which is nice - this also seems to be average, about half the division is pro the other half semi pro. Not that much history - founded in 1995. The chairman wants out (I actually would rather we didn't have a big money takeover) and our rivals are Dinamo Minsk and Torpedo Zhodino - both top flight sides. We came runners up in 2001 for the First League (not the Highest League - the top flight!) which makes me think we'd dropped like a stone afterwards ![]() Anyway the point is I'm here, and I'm on the prowl for staff, players and points!!! Wish me luck (again)! EDIT: We are known as THE STUDENTS too. Quite fitting! Last edited by iacovone; 11-01-2009 at 14:16. |

My left back just scored his first ever goal for the club from 50 yards in the 90th minute to seal a massive 1-0 away win and complete a fourth consecutive clean sheet.

Yeh you're right Porph. 3 go down from the Highest League whilst only 1 goes up from the First Division!! I hope it settles down after a while because that will take decades to get up to the top flight!!

I had an ongoing takeover for 14 months.
The first bid eventually failed after a year, then someone from within the club took over but invested nothing. I had a transfer embargo for 9 months or so aswell. We also had a stadium expansion announced at the end of season one. 600 or so seats adding to the already present 2000 standing capacity. The 275k loan hasn't done the finances much good though. Erzincanspor 2010/11
A much better season, as expected with the team not being totally new, I managed to win the first stage to set up a place in the championship group. This was somewhat harder but with 2 games left to play we still could make the playoffs with some wins. We only got 1 point from those 2 games though so finished up last. At least the board never expected to even reach the championship group. My favourite new player this season is German, Emre Pürselim filling a crucial attacking midfield spot that I couldn't find a player for last year. Azeryk - Njarovik - Season 2
Our first season in Europe may have been a short one but it was at least enjoyable. In the Euro cup third Q round we faced M.Haifa from Israel and squeezed passed them to let us face Barcelona, yes there was a spanking, 6-0 over the two legs, but it boosted the clubs finances and hopefully should give me some decent money to spend to boost us for next seasons Europe adventures. The cups went bad, reached the Q-finals in both the higher league cup and the main cup, but at least it meant I could concentrate on the league. The league went as expected, with the club finishing top and giving me champions league football next season, although there were way too many draws along the way which stopped us from winning the league more easily - eventually we won the league on goal difference, I had +19, FH had +18. Steady progress there Quackje. The upside of reaching the Championship Group is that you should be entered into the cup again next season (for some reason the newly promoted teams also get in - not sure if that's a bug or just the way it is)

Our title ambitions in season two are ended with two games to go after a 1-0 away defeat at Imotski. We look set to finish 4th now this season.
We finished 9th in season one if anyone is interested. I'm not going to bother with any big reports by the way. This kind of thing at random times throughout the season is all I'll do although I doubt anyone will care about this anyway. Last edited by aaberdeenn; 11-01-2009 at 20:59. |

And another stadium expansion, finances will be crippled after this one.
This time adding a further 2,300 to the standing capacity to take the overall capacity to 4,600 (600 seated). |

Vidar FK (Norway) Season 1 Update 2009 - 2.divisjon Avd.3
2.divisjon Avdeling 3 Prediction - 14th 2.divisjon Avdeling 3 Position - 3rd NM Cup - 1st Round Final League Table - League Positions So on my return to Stavanger, Norway and probably the smallest club I've ever managed. It turned out to be alot of fun as always and we far exceeded everyone's expectations by finishing 3rd, albeit no promotion. Next season promises much and I've already managed to aquire some useful new signings since the seasons end, including a promising AMC/FC and a player you may have heard of - Harald Martin Brattbakk, signed mainly for his coaching ability. Too late for me to go back and check who/what club now but I believe someone else having a crack in Croatia was experiencing the same issue with stadium expansions. I wonder if it is mandatory with the club being given a certain amount of time after promotion to upgrade to league standards or something like that.

I sense a good season ahead, signed just three new players (a GK, a DC and a MC), but am winning quite happily in the higher league cup and this season am 7 games, 0 conceded. Myself, and my scouts, also deem 7 of my main 11, to be good enough to stay in the team that'd help me complete this challenge, they just need to age faster

Yeah i had to have a stadium expansion despite not filling the stadium or having money, however i cant remember if it was right after getting promoted not got the game loaded so cant check but it definately killed me finances wise, but trust me when your in the first division you get money and it balances out.

Anyway, we did finish 4th in season two. I've blitzed the summer and I'm just approaching the start of season three, I've played two and a bit seasons now in three mega sessions. (I've still only clocked around 19-20 hours though) We're third favorites for the title this season so I'm hoping we'll have enough to go up, I've added three players to last season's squad to add to our challenge and I'm still on the lookout for a second left back. After spending five seasons in this second division in last year's challenge before giving up it would give me great satisfaction if I can manage it this year. SC Rotor Volgograd – Russian Premier Division – 2017
Media Prediction: 3rd Final Position: 3rd Russian Cup 2017/18: Through to the Quarter Final after beating Zenit in the 7th round, rest of games will be player early next season have been drawn against Spartak Moscow. Top Scorer: Walder Menacho (17) League Table Domestic Another good season with some sound performances from the team, i stayed unbeaten for 53 games in total over the last 2 years which i think is a good achievement. The problem i had was drawing too many games which cost me a Champions league spot so i will have to have another pop at the UEFA cup., A couple of new additions to the team this year, as most players will now come to my team as i was in the Champions League this season. Lars Fahlgren – A good looking striker who was dubbed the new Zlatan Ibrahimovic played a decent amount of games with some important goals, gets injured easy and is never fully fit though. Thomas Ritz[ – A swiss midfielder to add to my ever growing batch of CM,s played his fair amount of matches in a rotation policy looks a player for the future, secured his first cap for the national side and is wanted by a host of clubs. Tobias Weib – A German U21 player dubbed the next Miroslav Klose was signed on a free transfer might become a good player only played a handful o games needs some experience. Europe After coming first last season i was placed straight into the Groups stages where i was drawn in a tough group consisting of AC Milan, Sporting Lisbon and Rangers. I wasn’t expecting much as it was my first time in the competition. My first game was at home to sporting where i snatched a 1-0 win which was a great result then lost to Rangers away then both games against Milan. Produced a well earned draw away to Sporting . Then in my last game at home to Rangers outclassed them to come away with the 3 points in a 2-0 win. I finishd 3rd in the croup on 7 points not enough to progress but gained a deserved place in the Uefa Cup where i have been drawn against AEK Athens. The rest of the games will be played during my next season a mini euro update will be provided. I've just lost my captain for a measly 300k when his value was 100k, silly board. He'd been captain from the start aswell, one of my first signings, and my star centre back.
Almost wiped out the debt but a big loss. Thankfully I've a couple of younger centre backs who are in the Croatia U21 side who have just come into the starting 11/matchday squad picture so they'll fit snugly into the gap left by him. |

Thought I'd show you guys my one ray of hope in Belarus. The first academy man with 7 star potential at Zvezda!
Victor Karpov - Needless to say he is starting every game and just rescued a point for us by saving a penalty at home to Darida .

Youths are the way to go in LLM challenges, especially whilst there are so many good regens created. Three of my started 11 came through the youth ranked and 5 others were poached from other teams.
