Default The Outcasts League - Live Draft has begun

The Outcasts League

The world of football has always been dominated by clubs from the biggest nations in the world. A group of smaller nations had become fed-up with this state of affairs, a consortium then approached Desmond Tiny, former AD Fafe Manager and champion of the little guy, to come up with an idea that would give them a chance.

His suggestion was that each nation build themselves a club and he would run an international quality league for them to challenge in. His next job was to get FIFA and UEFA onboard, FIFA agreed completely with the idea and were very supportive, while UEFA agreed to give the clubs entry into European club competitions following the end of their first season.

Des then went back to the nations and they agreed to his ideas, he then provided each of them with Ł50 million to get their clubs up and running. Some of the chairmen spent this on facilities, some spent it on their star players and others on building a reputation with their fans. After each of the clubs submitted their applications he seperated them into a two-tier league system. The clubs from larger nations gained Premier League status while the rest were put into Division One.

The rules of the leagues were decided in a series of meetings, the main focus being building their national sides and making sure they could compete on an international level. So it was decided that every player in the squad would have to be from within the clubs nation, they would be allowed four players from outside. These would include a single Marquee player selected through an auction, this player would be given honourary Outcast status for his seasons in the club. Each club would also be able to select three previously uncapped players for their team, these would be chosen through an American style draft. They would then be given honorary home nationality so as to be available for their new nation. The only other rule on top of this would be that every starting XI must have an Under-20 player in the squad, this was to encourage the building of a youth system. From the second season onwards clubs will be allowed to bring in up to 4 foreigners, and up to three of these will be allowed in each match squad.

Default Re: The Outcasts League

Meeting the Clubs
Premier League
I have put these together to give a brief run down of what my updates are likely to look like, as I complete parts of the database and load it up tomorrow afternoon I shall update the bits that are incomplete right now. Hope you all like them.

Nation: Kazakhstan
City: Astana
Chairman: ManuCelt
Manager: Ryan McGahon
Stadium: Astana National Stadium (Cap: 25000)

Prediction: 10th

Squad
Youth
Marquee: Matias Fernandez (22,AMC)
Draftees:
1. Guillaume Hoarau (24,ST)
2. Marek Suchy (20,DC)
3. Robert Lewandowski (19,ST)
Best CA: Nurbol Jumaskaliev (27),(Sen),(AM/FC)
Best PA: Askar Khasenov (16),(Yth),(ST)
Player to Watch: Alexey Shakin (23,AMC): He will be hoping to get a moment to shake his thing alongside Matias in the attacking slot. Definitely a player for the future of Kazakhstan. He is set to shake the world apart, keep an eye on him.

Club Description: Astana United were one of the later entrants into this league, coming along and joining in with a ferocity. The club looks like they may be able to mount a challenge at a title, but a mid-table finish looks more likely. With a strong focus on Youth and Training this club is definitely one to watch out for in the future seasons. For now just sit back and hope they don't get relegated.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: New Zealand
City: Auckland
Chairman: Ventresto
Manager: Jasper Tanglewood
Stadium: Sky Tower Park (Cap: 22000)

Prediction: 7th

Squad
Youth
Best CA: Glen Moss (25),(Sen),(GK)
Best PA: Dave Wilson (16),(Yth),(MC)
Player to Watch: Cameron Richardson (19,ST): This guy had to be included, without a doubt the 19 year old will reach his potential, with a CA of 30 and a PA of 33 he is going to be an interesting watch. My question is whether he will make a difference, or will he just be brushed aside?

Club Description: Auckland Maori are based in the largest city in New Zealand, the club will have a problem with fans as they will be loved within their own city, but hated by everyone south of the Bombay Hills. Having concentrated on the star players they could bring together and a large transfer budget Auckland are hoping to bring in some stars from outside the club.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Azerbaijan
City: Baku
Chairman: Hursty2
Manager: Sheikh Gazelle
Stadium: The Bats Cave (Cap: 25000)

Prediction: 13th

Squad
Youth
Marquee: Giuseppe Rossi (21,AMC/FC)
Draftees:
1. John Fleck (16,AMRLC/FC)
2. Reynaldo (18,AM/FC)
3. Timothy Derijck (21,DRC)
Best CA: Branimir Subasic (26),(Sen),(AMRL/FC)
Best PA: Mübariz Äläkbärov (16),(Yth),(MC)
Player to Watch: Marcos Ferreira (26,ST): Whatever sort of player would choose Azerbaijan over his native Brazil really has to be looked into further. Marcos Ferreira is not a bad player, and probably could've made the Brazilian bench, but he has chosen to play for his new homeland of Azerbaijan. Keep an eye on this guy.

Club Description: The Baku Bats are looking to put the former Soviet Republic of Azerbaijan on the map. Not expected to compete immediately, they have also gone down the young players route, hoping to bring in some very youthful stars from all over their nation and train them to be stars in the future. Should be a club to be reckoned with in about 2020. This first season I would be looking for a safe mid table finish.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Liechtenstein
City: Balzers
Chairman: Joetheref
Manager: Joe Tompkins
Stadium: Muddy Field (Cap: 30000)

Prediction: 14th

Squad
Youth
Marquee: Francisco Guillermo (22,GK) - (Shares my Birthday, just wrong year)
Draftees:
1. Cicero (24,MLC)
2. Gonzalo Bergessio (23,FC)
3. Asmir Begovic (21,GK)
Best CA: Mario Frick (33),(Sen),(AMLC/FC)
Best PA: Sergio Gaubert (16),(Yth),(MR)
Player to Watch: The Becks - Roger (MC) & Thomas (AM/FC): These two look like they could work good together, and its always good to see a pair with the same name passing to each other; "And its Beck to Beck, and back to Beck, and he slots it home, its an all BECK GOAL!" At 24 and 27 they have a few years left and should help the Badgers out.

Club Description: The Balzers Badgers have decided to bring Liechtenstein out of the shadow of Switzerland and give themselves their own chance at leading the way. With the largest stadium of the teams so far they will be hoping their fans show up, they have spent very highly on facilities as well, should be an interesting side, but look for them to battle against relegation.

Nation: Montenegro
City: Podgorica
Chairman: Dave.
Manager: Danijel Bojan
Stadium: Stadion Pod Galicom (Cap: 18000)

Prediction: 5th

Squad
Youth
Draftees:
1. Keirrison de Souza Carneiro (20,ST)
2. Pedro Leon (21,AMRC)
3. Roberto Santamaria (23,GK)
Best CA/PA: Mirko Vucinic (24),(Sen),(AML/FC)
2nd Best PA: Vladan Kecman (15),(Yth),(DR)
Player to Watch: Dusan Ilic (16,MC): He may not be the next biggest star for Montenegro, but the Emo kid will not go down in flames, with his hair swept aside from his eyes he will make sure that the rest of the players hear his pain. Watch out for him causing grief if they lose.

Club Description: Blue Star of Montenegro have some very big name stars before they even start, look for them to be title contenders from day one. With a reputation to match their star players, and a youth academy with some quality I would watch out for them. The former Yugoslavian team should be one to watch.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: India
City: New Delhi
Chairman: Scottish Gooner
Manager: James Colt
Stadium: The Tiger Claw (Cap: 10000)

Prediction: 12th

Squad
Youth
Marquee: Mauricio (21,AMFC)
Draftees:
1. Javi Garcia (21,DM)
2. Dario Ventucci (21,DM)
3. Geoffrey Jourdren (22,GK)
Best CA: Sunil Chetri (23),(Sen),(ST)
Best PA: Siddharth Gonsalves (16),(Yth),(MR)
Player to Watch: Climax Lawrence (29,MC): He may be old, he may be injured, but the Climax of the Delhi Tigers season comes in the form of Mister Lawrence. The Tigers of the sub-continent are sitting here hoping he comes back soon. One of several central midfielders in this squad he may fight to get his spot back, but no one can deny the veteran midfielder a chance. I hope it is not an Anti-climax.

Club Description: India is not known as a hot bed for Football in the world, but given the money flowing in the nation, the sheer numbers of people surely they can climb from the depths of World Football and compete at the top level. Watch out for the Dehli Tigers to sneak in and show the world what one of the most populous nations in the world can do. Having a large amount of money left for players they have to spend it wisely and hope that their lack of facilities does not hinder them down the track.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Iceland
City: Reykjavik
Chairman: James-99
Manager: Sergio Almerio
Stadium: Volcanic Arena (Cap: 30000)

Prediction: 2nd

Squad
Youth
Marquee: Victor Valdes (26,GK)
Draftees:
1. Loic Nestor (19,DLC)
2. Leo Schwechlen (19,DLC)
3. Daniel Fox (22,DL)
Best CA: Eidar Gudjohnsen (29),(Sen),(AMFC)
Best PA: Haukur Ingi Jonsson (15),(Yth),(ML)
Player to Watch: Ferdinand Hauge (15,GK): The only Eskimo player whose name does not end with son or sen, clearly has to be a man to watch, can he become better than Valdes and can he possibly make a difference in a side full of sons?

Club Description: The Eskimos are based in the capital of iceland, they would have to be one of the picks for 2008/09, they should be challenging for Europe come the end of the season. Pit them against the team from Montenegro and it will be a battle for the ages. The team has a huge reputation in their native land, and they look to spread that across the world while spreading the rest of their money around. They may not have the best facilities, but they don't have the worst either.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: North Korea
City: Pyongyang
Chairman: Darren HR
Manager: Kim Jong-il
Stadium: Korean Worker's Party Stadium (Cap: 50000)

Prediction: 6th

Squad
Youth

Best CA: Kim Yong-Jun (24),(Sen),(MC)
Best PA: Jang Ka Kei (16),(Yth),(MC)
Player to Watch: Park Dongqi (ST): Well should just be a guy to watch, go the surprise of North Korea.

Club Description: Kim Jong-il is a very patriotic man and he has always been this way. He is going to lead this team from the front and if a single player steps out of line he will be in deep trouble. With their name always blasted across the loud speakers and the public forced to support them, they should sell out every game in their large stadium, but with poor facilities they may struggle to compete. Jong-il was heard to say, "Why do we need training facilities? I can train them in a mud paddock, or on the battle field, if they don't perform out they go."

Nation: Hong Kong
City: Hong Kong
Chairman: William Hall
Manager: Jackie Chan
Stadium: Hong Kong Stadium (Cap: 40000)

Prediction: 11th

Squad
Youth

Best CA: Chin Hung So (14),(Yth),(ST)
Best PA: Nicky Morrison (15),(Yth),(GK)
Player to Watch: Chao Pengfei (20,AMRL/ST): On loan at Happy Valley, he is hoping to improve enough to make it in to the top squad on his return.

Club Description: Hong Kong has been a constant thorn in the side of China, now the club is going to try and show why they are the world beaters and not their large neighbours. Jackie Chan is going to lead with his comedic genius, and the rest will always follow. With a fairly large stadium built in the centre of the city and a few smaller facilities around they are hoping to also pick up a few stars and make their team unbeatable. They will be another team in the mid-table battle, but I expect them to rake in the money.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Jamaica
City: Kingston
Chairman: Daemon Rising
Manager: Daemon
Stadium: The Rastadium (Cap: 50000)

Prediction: 4th

Squad
Youth

Best CA: Ricardo Fuller (28),(Sen),(ST)
Best PA: Ricardo Gardner (29),(Sen),(WB/AML)
Player to Watch: Richard Hope (15,MC): The future hope of the Jamaican Nation, can Richard make a show in this team and lead them into the future?

Club Description: Jamaica is a nation of Bobsledders, or so Cool Runnings has made us believe, well following in that tradition the Kingston Red Stripes are going to take the world by storm. They may not come out on top, but they will be welcomed back with respect and as equals in four years time. Daemon and his backroom team will be hoping that the support of their many fans in their stadium will drive them forwards, and hopefully they can earn enough money to build better facilities in a years time.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Malta
City: San Gwann
Chairman: Denther
Manager: Jean Parisot de la Valette
Stadium: Fort St. Angelo (Cap: 20000)

Prediction: 8th

Squad
Youth
Marquee: Lucho Gonzalez (27,MC)
Draftees:
1. Adam Pepper (16,ST)
2. Mykola Morozyuk (20,MRC)
3. Ivan Ivanov (20,DLC)
Best CA: Michael Mifsud (27),(Sen),(ST)
Best PA: Teddy Muscat (16),(Yth),(MC)
Player to Watch: Simon Bajada (16,DC): The young man needs to overcome his poor ratings across the world if he is going to make something of himself. He looks like he has some good starting stats, he is very fit, and willing to work as part of a team. Can he come out and show that he is the best Central Defender in Malta?

Club Description: Malta became independent in 1964, and a republic only ten short years later, but since then they have not been able to rack up a good team in football. Denther and his selection hope they can correct the path of the Maltese Falcon and soar their way into the record books. Hoping to take over the world from an island nation is a big dream, but the British managed it. San Gwann have been very thoughtful in their spending, a little into each area, but a very strong focus on the future has seen them invest in World Class Youth and Training facilities. How many years before they reach the top? I predict a Premiership by 2030 for this club.

Nation: Singapore
City: Serangoon
Chairman: Ben Arsenal
Manager: Mohamad Mustafa
Stadium: Serangoon Stadium (Cap: 10000)

Prediction: 3rd

Squad
Youth
Marquee: Geromel (22,DC)
Draftees:
1. Jádson Rodrigues da Silva (24,AMC)
2. Rustam Khudzhamov (25,GK)
3. Hassan Yebda (24,DM)
Best CA: Alberto Singh (16),(Yth),(DL)
Best PA: Mohd Azlan Yusof (15),(Yth),(GK)
Player to Watch: Gautam Kumar (16,ST): The Kumars are at number 42, I wonder if he will demand that number on his back, the future striking hopes of Singapore are looking good in his hands. I hope that he can show the Premier Division his wares very soon.

Club Description: The Slingers of Singapore are hoping that they can represent for the Asian contingent. Ben Arsenal has selected a strong team to surround himself, and has spent his money wisely. Not having expanded his stadium so that he could focus on his team and on the future could backfire, but knowing that his complete focus is on the task at hand rather than the trappings of a huge stadium show he knows what he wants, and that is victory.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Estonia
City: Tallin
Chairman: Uusinjsh
Manager: Jaak Opper
Stadium: A. Le Coq Arena (Cap: 10000)

Prediction: 9th

Squad
Youth
Marquee: Carlos Vela (19,AMLC/FC)
Draftees:
1. Vincenzo Fiorillo (18,GK)
2. Martin Galvan (15,AMC)
3. Razan Ochirosii (19,AML)
Best CA: Andres Oper (30),(Sen),(ST)
Best PA: Maksam Roos (16),(Yth),(MC)
Player to Watch: Alexandr Kudryashov (16,MR): The best looking player for the right hand side sees Alexandr as a serious possibility in Estonia's future. I would like to see him get a top team run later in the season, hopefully he can have a chance to come out on top.

Club Description: The Estonians come into this is one of the favourites, up there with Tirana and Blue Star, they already have some top class players in their squads to start building around, but they will be hoping they can improve their stock and move up the world rankings quickly. The Ice Bears also have only a small stadium, but with a large number of supporters and a great back room expect them to expand that pretty early on.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Albania
City: Tirana
Chairman: Fergysafc
Manager: Liam Ferguson
Stadium: Tirana Park (Cap: 20000)

Prediction: 1st

Squad
Youth
Draftees:
1. Gabriel Torje (18,AMR)
2. Christian Gimenez (27,AMRL/FC)
3. Haris Medunjanin (23,AMC)
Best CA/PA: Lorik Cana (24),(Sen),(DC/DM/MC)
Best PA: Erjon Bogdani (31),(Sen),(ST)
Player to Watch: Manuel Jidayi (16,GK): A great looking young keeper, Jidayi has to be one for the future. If Tirana use him correctly they should be able to stop any goals going into their net for years to come, it will be interesting to see if he steps into the limelight in 2008 or if it will be a few years before he comes in.

Club Description: Albania are the highest ranked nation in this competition, ranked 101st in the world most punters are backing Tirana to take the title from the word go. Yet they obviously are not looking back to all the teams that are hot on their tails. With an even spread across the board in how they have spent their money, they haven't really focussed on one particular area, hopes for them are that this doesn't come back to hurt them later.

Division One

Nation: Sao Tome & Principe
City: Sao Tome
Chairman: Lower Leagues Rule
Manager: Joao de Santarium
Stadium: Cubo de Acucar (Cap: 25000)

Prediction: 12th

Squad
Youth
Marquee: Rene Adler (23,GK)
Draftees:
1. Franco Zuculini (17,DM/MR)
2. Omar Benzerga (18,DM)
3. Radja Nainggolan (20,DM/AMRLC)
Best CA: Orlando (36),(Sen),(ST)
Best PA: Antoine Tchana (16),(Yth),(ST)
Player to Watch: Waldo (20,DM): Well everyone was asking "Where's Waldo?" Well i have found him in Sao Tome as possibly the worst player in the league. He is not going to win any awards, but I found him, look at the stripes and the glasses.

Club Description: Basing themselves in the capital city of Sao Tome at Cubo de Açúcar, a 25,000 seat stadium near the edge of the city. The club is hoping to build on their nations poor current ranking, as the original nation that went to Des Tiny with their concerns about the current world situation they are hoping to move from the bottom of the world rankings with the help of this club. With a focus on Youth and the future they are looking to take their chances early on and aim for the top later on. Life may be tough starting at the bottom, but they will work their way up.

Chairmans Thoughts: Well my thoughts on the squad are that we could be better, but we could definitely be a lot worse. I can see a good mid-table finish here for AD Escobar. The boys need to get in early and the midfield need to dominate and hopefully the ball is stopped at the back by Adler.

Nation: Belize
City: Belize City
Chairman: AdzH
Manager: Alfred Whitlemort
Stadium: Logwood Bay (Cap: 25000)

Prediction: 8th

Squad
Youth
Marquee: Marek Hamsik (20,MC)
Draftees:
1. Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior (16,AMC/ST)
2. Juan Forlin (20,DC)
3. Rual Nava (17,ST)
Best CA: Shane Orio (27),(Sen),(GK)
Best PA: Sam Leeson (16),(Yth),(DR)
Player to Watch: Orlando Hoare (16,DC): Orlando looks to be a pretty good choice for the future at centre back, he has a bit of potential and a chance to improve well. He may not look like the most amazing player right now, but he has a few years to improve in the Belize Facilities before he needs to take control in the national side.

Club Description: Belize City came in in the final days with a new proposal, which Des Tiny accepted immediately as he saw the potential for a side from Central America in his league system. Should be interesting to see if the team is able to keep up with the predicted mid-table position. I personally predict 11th spot for Belize City in 2008/09.

Best CA: <profile> (00),(Sen),(POS)

Player to Watch: <profile> (POS): {Here go a few words}

Club Description: The boys from Turkmenistan are rumoured to be hunting down the Baku Bats with some idea of revenge on their minds, first they will need to gain promotion to the Premier League. They have focussed on the youth side of things and hope that they can build to a future in the big time, not much point aiming for the top in season one. Slow and steady should win the race, as one of the highest ranked sides going into the 1st Division they will be hoping to gain promotion in season one.

Chairmans Thoughts:

3.
Best CA: <profile> (00),(Sen),(POS)
Best PA: <profile> (00),(Yth),(POS)
Player to Watch: <profile> (POS): {Here go a few words}

Club Description: Male Fandita are from beautiful holiday destination of the Maldives, with hundreds of islands making up their home, these players are more used to water than the football field. Hoping to use their high ranking in the 1st Division to gain a quick promotion Fandita will be a team to be reckoned with in season 1. They have spent more money on their facilities than any other team in the league system, this will either be a good thing or a bad thing, no one is one hundred percent sure which it will be. Expect them to finish near the top, if not as League Champions.

Nation: Nicaragua
City: Masaya
Chairman: Hamuel
Manager: Augusto Sandino
Stadium: El Chipote (Cap: 20000)

Prediction: 5th
Squad
Youth
Marquee:
Draftees:
1. Eyong Enoh (21,MC)
2.
3.
Best CA: <profile> (00),(Sen),(POS)
Best PA: <profile> (00),(Yth),(POS)
Player to Watch: <profile> (POS): {Here go a few words}

Club Description: The Guerillas, no not the ones that hang out in the mountains of Rwanda, these ones are from Nicaragua and they have built an average set-up at the base of the mountains. They are hoping to use this base to build a top class side, and hopefully then they can make it into the top division. For season one I would be predicting Masaya to set themselves up in the mid-table and work their way up. Their battle with Escobar should be an interesting one.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: American Samoa
City: Pago Pago
Chairman: Togiola Tulafono
Manager: Ipulas Sunia
Stadium: Pago Pago University Field (Cap: 28000)

Prediction: 7th

Club Description:

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Guam
City: Agana
Chairman: JSalter
Manager: Tups Hilp
Stadium: University of Guam Sports Field (Cap: 25000)

Prediction: 6th
Squad

Marquee:
Draftees:
1. Fabian Delph (18,MC)
2.
3.
Best CA: <profile> (00),(Sen),(POS)
Best PA: <profile> (00),(Yth),(POS)
Player to Watch: <profile> (POS): {Here go a few words}

Club Description: Well the cast of lost were trying to fly to here, but they never made it. Guam is famous as an American military base, but now they want to make their name on the football field. JSalter and his team have pulled out all the stops to try and get a squad of University Graduates onto the park and competitive in the short time they have been together. With good facilities, but nothing spectacular they hope that they can slowly move up the ranks, and maybe surprise some of the bigger boys. I would be expecting the Pumas to safely be above relegation, maybe in 13th spot in season one.

2.
3.
Best CA: <profile> (00),(Sen),(POS)
Best PA: <profile> (00),(Yth),(POS)
Player to Watch: <profile> (POS): {Here go a few words}

Club Description: Rangoon FC were the Johnny-come-latelys of the 1st Division, based in the former British colony of Myanmar (then Burma), they are hoping to overcome their slow start and get themselves out in front in the football world. They are ranked quite highly compared to the clubs around them, but with a lack of any true stars they may fall back through the pack. They kept a large sum of money for future spending, but also spent a bit of money across the board, interestingly they don't have that big of a following yet in their homeland like the rest of the clubs.

Chairmans Thoughts
:

Nation: San Marino
City: San Marino
Chairman: Lomedae
Manager: Pietro Serravalle
Stadium: Stadio di Sammarinese (Cap: 20000)

Prediction: 4th
Squad
Youth
Marquee:
Draftees:
1. Jakson Avelino Coelho (22,AMLC/ST)
2.
3.
Best CA: <profile> (00),(Sen),(POS)
Best PA: <profile> (00),(Yth),(POS)
Player to Watch: <profile> (POS): {Here go a few words}

Club Description: San Marino have always relied on clubs in the Italian leagues as their way to possibly get a true shot in Europe, as their own clubs have never received enough competition to make it through. Now with a club in the Outcast League they are looking to another path and the possibility of a strong presence. A strong focus on future talent has seen them splash out on the best Training and Youth Academys that money could buy. The young players of San Marino are said to be delighted with a chance to prove themselves in world class facilities.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Brunei
City: Bandar Seri Begawan
Chairman: Coldkohmew
Manager: James Wood
Stadium: Sultan Hassal Bolkiah Stadium (Cap: 10000)

Prediction: 14th
Squad
Youth
Marquee:
Draftees:
1. Corry Evans (17,MC)
2.
3.
Best CA: <profile> (00),(Sen),(POS)
Best PA: <profile> (00),(Yth),(POS)
Player to Watch: <profile> (POS): {Here go a few words}

Club Description: The Sultan of Brunei is said to have thrown his huge sums of money behind this club, and it seems even though they spent large amounts of money they probably are bankrolled for another 20 years already. Other than having the Sultan supporting them they seem a little bit short on reputation across Brunei as a whole, maybe they need to get some players out there with flyers. They have built just a small 10,000 seat stadium, but they have perfect facilities for training of their youth. Coldkohmew probably looked at the state of the nations current players and decided they didn't need a new stadium, they needed new players. Look for Brunei to be fighting against Escobar to stay in the mid table.

3.
Best CA: <profile> (00),(Sen),(POS)
Best PA: <profile> (00),(Yth),(POS)
Player to Watch: <profile> (POS): {Here go a few words}

Club Description: The Maoris, not to be confused with the team from Auckland, are based on the island of Samoa. With a club that looks promising in the future, D-Machine and Tama Tipene have come together with a great investment package to try and put the Pacific Islands on the map. With their big budget items being a Youth Academy, a Marketing campaign, and a huge new stadium they have put together a team Samoa can be proud of. Look for them to be putting in a surprise challenge. My Pick as the Dark horses in 2008/09.

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Faroe Islands
City: Torshavn
Chairman: NicKC13573
Manager: Nick Clements
Stadium: Dagger Domain (Cap: 15000)

Prediction: 1st
Squad
Youth
Marquee:
Draftees:
1. Mickaël Serge Pagis (34,ST)
2.
3.
Best CA: <profile> (00),(Sen),(POS)
Best PA: <profile> (00),(Yth),(POS)
Player to Watch: <profile> (POS): {Here go a few words}

Club Description: The Daggers are going to look to sharpen their skills in the 1st Division for a season or two before they make the move into the league with all the big boys. Torshavn have spent their dollars wisely, they have a huge worldwide reputation already a month after their creation, they have perfect facilities, and huge fan support, but all this could count for nothing by the time they step onto the park. They have done all the work behind the scenes, but will Nick and Nick see the realisation of their dreams?

Chairmans Thoughts:

Nation: Nepal
City: Kathmandu
Chairman: Blanco
Manager: Tenzing Norgay
Stadium: Himalayan Dome (Cap: 20000)

Prediction: 13th

Marquee:

2.
3.
Best CA: <profile> (00),(Sen),(POS)
Best PA: <profile> (00),(Yth),(POS)
Player to Watch: <profile> (POS): {Here go a few words}

Club Description: The boys from the Valley are used to being on top of the world geographically, but now they want to continue this in the world of Football. Can the altitude of Nepal put off players from other teams when they head there to play? Will the thin air be too much for teams to overcome? The team from Nepal will have conditions on their side, but can they overcome the state of some of their players. Blanco has focussed on the future and has lined up some stunning facilities, now hopefully he can find the Nepalese stars and bring them to his club. It may just give him a chance to control the world from the heights of the Himalayas.

Glad you like it Hursty, I was hoping the effort I put into the opening posts would be appreciated, and I will be writing up the draft in full tomorrow night I hope. And then we will follow that with the auction and then I will be able to complete the database and the full club profiles above.

Another thing you could do is get us chairman to write a short report on the players we get, financial state expected at the end of the year, how we expect the youth to progress and why we chose those particular marquee signings about the marquee signings etc.

Good idea?

I actually like that idea, that'll give the Chairman something to do while I run the first part of the season and prepare an update once I have the game going. I can add them to the opening posts as "Chairmans Thoughts"

Thanks D-Machine. I am always devoted to writing, it is one thing I have always loved to do. Hoping by about this time tommorrow to be able to write-up the draft so that everyone knows which uncapped and which Marquee Players they have received.
Welcome Ben. Good to see the cheering for your club already.

Well I am going write up the draft a couple of picks at a time, and planning to start writing it up and posting it in a live sort of format as I make the picks in my Excel spreadsheet where I have it all laid out. I am also off work sick for the week, so it gives me a chance to complete all the set-up before I go away Friday morning.

I explained in the other thread, but basically their 22man squad will be made up of 2 in each position chosen randomly from the available players. Then the Uncapped and Marquee Players will be selected by me on a random basis after everyone else's have been picked.

I've also added your club's squad to the database, so those players are all in there and no problems there.

Thanks for the support everyone. I was pretty pleased with how things turned out in the updates. I only currently have one problem with the database relating to the Euro Cup, but I am working on how to fix that at the moment. Seems to not want to schedule itself for the group stage in the second season. And then it never starts up again after that...

Thanks JSalter and Joetheref, I may have found a solution to the Euro Cup issue, and it seems I had to remove a nation from Europe, so I have just taken out the lowest rep nation that we are not using. And it appears to have worked, going to keep this game holidaying overnight to make sure it works.

Hamuel thats just a mean pick, haha, well we have at least one more sign-up. Hopefully we might be able to grab the final two spots filled up, if not I will just leave my extra randomly created clubs in there.

As an extra little treat with my spare time this morning I am putting together a series of teams for the lower leagues, they will all be based on teams outside the top 150, and will have lesser facilities than any of us, so they should just go straight back down again, but it makes it more realisitic than having the old Malay teams come up

With 40 minutes to go until my cut-off I require the below from these people still. I have added squads for the bottom 6 teams, but these will be able to be changed by the Chairman sending me a PM, the Uncapped Players are the most desperate as I am going to start processing the draft at 3pm, in 40 minutes and if I don't have yours by the time I get up to your pick you will have the choice of players after everyone else has drafted. Cheers.

These Ones I just need Marquee Players

1. Dave. (Montenegro)

These Ones I just need Uncapped & Marquee Players

1. Fergysafc (Albania)

These ones I still need their squads as well as Marquee & Uncapped Players

1. Daemon Rising (Jamaica)
2. Ventresto (New Zealand)
3. Darren HR (North Korea)
4. William Hall (Hong Kong)
5. Jayatsena (Myanmar)
6. AdzH (Belize)

Des Tiny: Welcome everyone to the uncapped players draft of my Outcasts League. Tonight we shall see the best players from around the world drafted in to play for new nations. I am delighted to have seen my Outcasts League get off the ground, and I hope that the clubs that have joined in on this big adventure will get the most out of it for their nations and their players. Tonight I shall be hosting this event along with Aleksander Radakovic, the former AD Fafe striker, welcome Aleks, are you looking forward to this?

Radakovic: I am absolutely delighted to be here Des, just wish it was possible for me to be involved, but you ranked Serbia too high, and then told me I couldn't enter the draft as I had previously played internationally. Come on Des give a dog a bone.

Des: Sorry Radak, but those were the rules that were agreed too. So looking at the draft class tonight are there any players who you could see stepping straight into leading roles who could go early.

Radakovic: Well I can think of a few, but they are all likely to cost a lot, so it is more likely we will see them go in the middle of the first round. Players like Rene Adler from Leverkusen, or maybe Gael Clichy of Arsenal could be good pick-ups. What about you Des, who are you looking at as likely picks?

Des: I personally think teams will be looking more towards the future, but players like Hulk are a little out of reach, so maybe someone like Geromel of Koln, or Juan Forlin of Boca. If clubs pick the older stars then they are likely to wither as clubs not too far down the line. So first up to the podium appears to be Hursty of the Baku Bats, I wonder who he shall pick. Lets cross live to the auditorium floor.

Hursty: Well I am delighted with the chance to be here tonight with the first pick in this uncapped players draft. Hopefully I can make the right pick for the future of the Baku Bats. I would like to thank Desmond Tiny for the opportunity and with our first round pick the Baku Bats would like to select.....John Fleck.

Des: Well I have to say that pick up was unexpected, but when you really look at it the Baku Bats have picked up a solid midfielder at a fairly cheap price. It looks like there will be some smart spending instead of teams throwing their money away.

Radakovic: And he also has bucketloads of potential, a little bit surprised to have seen him go as the first pick. Though really if I had the choice I would've stuck with solid players rather than risking it all on a star. Good to see Fleck signed by a club with good facilities as well, I am pretty sure he will be happy with that selection as well and delighted to pull on the Black and Yellow.

Des: So with the first pick out of the way we have seen a player selected who is definitely one for the future at only 16, but he could probably play a part in this side from day one. Well anyway it is time to cross back to the floor as Fergysafc steps up to make the pick for Tirana United.

Fergysafc: Well ladies and Gentleman, its a pleasure to be here, now down to business. With our first round pick, Tirana United would like to select Bojan.

An excited aide comes running up to Fergy and whispers something in his ear.

Fergysafc: Hmmm seems I spent too much money on my facilities, I can't afford him, what about Amauri? Maxwell? Mikael Arteta?

On each name the aide slowly shakes his head until Fergy finally comes to a decision on his uncapped player.

Fergysafc: Okay then, with our our first round pick we will select Gabriel Torje.

Des:
Well Aleks, it seems that Fergy got a little lost and didn't realise how much money he had to spend in this draft, well hopefully that is all sorted now and we can move on a bit faster. Interesting choice the 18 year old Romanian. He looks to have a good future, but it could be a tight run thing as to whether he sticks around. Thoughts?

Radakovic: He was one of my picks, definitely an underated player, and if he is in the right team he should be able to light up the world. Though I think the 1.8 million pounds was a little bit steep. Oh and here comes Dave. for the pick from Blue Star.

Dave.: Well everyone, I am glad to be here representing Montenegro and Blue Star tonight. First of all Congratulations to Baku Bats on signing John Fleck, he looks quality and a good price too. Secondly lets all put our hands together for Desmond Tiny, without him none of us would be here.

The whole auditorium stands and appluads loudly, even Radakovic standing beside him in the commentators box.

Des: Shucks guys, really its too much.

Dave.: Right now onto the reason I am standing here, I am here to submit the pick for Blue Star, with our first round we would like to draft...

The crowd waits in anticipation.

Dave.: Keirrison!

Des:
Well that has to take their whole transfer budget surely, 2.4 million pounds, definitely hoping he performs straight out of the box. This Blue Star team were already a squad to be reckoned with, but with the addition of him they are going to run rings around some of their opposition.

Radakovic: Pick three is not a teenager, I am a little surprised to see Keirrison picked up so early, I expected him as mid to late round 1. Good to see my fellow former Yugoslavs picking wisely. And it is another player who will be solid right away, but will also give them a shot in the future as he improves.

Des: Well I think its time for a commercial break, when we get back we should have Scottish Gooner and his Delhi Tigers on the board.

Pick three has been made by Dave. and I sort of wanted cheap and good future, so I scouted for future Superstars who are currently on the low end of the price range, have to wait and see who everyone gets though :P

Scottish Gooner: Hey everybody, glad to see all your smiling faces out there, India is very proud to be part of the Outcasts League and we wish the best of luck to everyone in the competition. Now with the fourth overall pick we would like to select Javi Garcia.

Radakovic: Short and sweet, just how I like it and I think they have scored a major coup here with the selection of Javi Garcia. The 21 year old will be an anchor for this team for years to come. A Defensive Midfielder is an interesting pick-up, but if you have a good one they can lead the side in attack and defense.

Tiny: I don't know if i would've paid 3.6 million pounds for him though, it looks like the Indian team had a lot of money in their transfer budget though, it has barely made a dent.

Radakovic: And he is the oldest player selected so far, he is a sure bet though. He could almost be the Marquee player for this squad, how he has not been capped for Spain yet I am not sure.

Tiny: Here comes D-Machine himself, he seems pretty pleased with himself I guess he has a few tricks up his sleeve here. I wonder who he is going to pick.

D-Machine: Well everyone, finally we make it to the pick of the best team in the competition. The Bros from Samoa may be Fresh off the Boat, but we are going to show why the South Pacific cannot be taken lightly. You all need to watch out for us. Now with my first pick I would like to take Coutinho.

Tiny:
Hmmm interesting a 16 year old Attacking Midfielder, he was going to be signed by Inter, but I bought out that contract for Polynesian FC, I hope they are happy with that choice. Now at 40,000 pounds he is an absolute bargin, though a few other teams will be surprised with this choice so early in the round.

Radakovic: My trend continues, they are still picking young players with an aim to make them into future superstars, its a great idea, but for some of these bigger clubs, I did expect to see some star players joining them instead of just young guns.

Tiny: Well I think they all seem to realise that this is a long term aim they have as a nation and they need to take it slowly not go at it like a Bull in a China shop. The Tortise will always eventually beat the hare. And speaking of the Hare, where is Jayatsena? It seems that there is no one from Rangoon FC in the building. Now I wonder why they have not turned up tonight?

Radakovic: Well if they aren't here soon we will have to move on without them.

Tiny: Well the Director has told me we should go to a break while we wait to see where Rangoon FC are. He is also looking for Auckland, Kingston, Hong Kong, Belize and Pyongyang, as they also seem to be missing in action. We will be back shortly with an update.

After a Short Break

Tiny: Well here we are back again, and we have decided that these teams will be given one last chance to purchase uncapped players, after the draft has completed they will have 12 hours to submit a list of players who have not been selected before this time. If they turn up while the draft continues and submit players they will be allowed to pick from that round onwards.

Radakovic: So that means we will now see ManuCelt of Astana United, he will be picking for Kazakhstan. Will be interesting to see what players are picked upp for this part of the world.

ManuCelt: Ladies, Gentlemen, Boys, Girls, Desmond Tiny and esteemed guests, I welcome you all on behalf of the best country in the world, the Mighty Kazakhstan. I am here to pick up our new favourite son, we choose.... .... .... Guillaume Hoarau.

Des Tiny:
Well another striker has his contract wrapped up in the early part of the draft. If this trend continues then all the best strikers will be gone already, and some of the later drafting teams may be disappointed. Hoarau, is a 24 year old striker born in Saint Louis, he looks like a future star in the world. Watch out for him in a couple of years time, but watch out he is likely to already take the Outcasts Premier League by storm.

Radakovic: Man Des, you really can go on. Well here comes Joetheref, he is here to make a pick for the Balzers Badgers, be interesting to see who Liechtenstein are targetting.

Joetheref: Well I am really happy to be here tonight, been some interesting choices so far, but I am amazed to still have the chance to name our first round pick as Cicero.

Radakovic:
Now that is one of the players I expected to go in the first ten pick-ups. You would have to think that he has gone a little late considering his skill levels. A very good pick up for the Badgers.

Des: The Central Midfielder is already a star at 23, and he can only get better, the Badgers are looking to compete straight away, but was this the best way to spend their money? He has signed a 5 year contract, so that should mean he is worth their 375,000 pound outlay. And now as Auckland Maori appear to have not turned up we move on to JSalter and his University of Guam Pumas.

JSalter: Thank you all for having me, I must say the reception here is better than I expected. Well the Pumas came here with one name on our lips, and we would like to welcome Fabian Delph into the fold.

Tiny: Now that signing does not surprise me, Fabian has a huge future ahead of him. At only 18 years of age the Bradford born star will lead Guam in the future, expect to soon see him captaining their national side.

Radakovic: And they picked him up for less than a million pounds, a real bargin for a solid midfielder. JSalter and the Guam boys know what they are looking for in a team. Well up next would've been the boys from Jamaica, but they also appear to be missing. So lets invite NickC and the boys of Torshavn onto the stage, they are next in the pile.

NickC13573: Here we are, the Faroe Islands have always been seen as the little boys of Europe, in a battle with San Marino for the wooden spoon, well now those days are over. We are here now to show the world what we can do. Now I was disappointed to hear we missed out on Cicero, but instead we will pick up Mickaël Serge Pagis to join Torshavn. Thank you all.

Des: Well we will get your thoughts on that one right after the break Aleks.

Yeah it is taking a little while haha. I didn't think it would take this long. I am going to write up as much as I can, but it also gives those guys who haven't submitted a bit of a chance.

Des: Well before the break we saw Torshavn sign Mickael Pagis, now Radakovic do you have a view on that one?

Aleksander: Well I must say of all the signings so far this one has baffled me the most, he is past his prime and getting into his later years. They have signed him to a five year contract, and I would think he will see out his career with the club.

Des: So what you are saying is that instead of focussing on the future this team has gone back to the past?

Aleksander: Thats right Des, I just can't see the logic in signing an old man. Oh well here comes Lomedae.

Lomedae: Hey Aleks, Hey Des, hope everyone is enjoying their evenings, now I am not going to hold up the ceremony, we will take Jakson Avelino Coelho from the draft and thank you all.

Aleksander: Now thats more like it, twenty two and a real star for the future. Jaja is definitely no Binks, he will show the 1st Division exactly how to play football.

Des: So you like that one, I actually agree with you. The Midfielder and Striker is a stunner, wherever he plays he is going to be in control. Next up was supposed to be Hong Kong, but they are not present. As for Belize City they are unable to make their pick at this time and will be taking their first round pick at the end of the round.

Radakovic: So that means that next up we have Hamuel of Masaya Guerillas, they are going to be delighted to have basically moved up two slots, gives them a great chance of getting a good pick-up.

Hamuel: Well its time for some undercover action, the Guerillas are going to pull Eyong Tarkang Enoh into the fold so we can get closer to the title. Thank you Des for this shot.

Des: You are welcome Hamuel, I hope that this league leads to some real underdogs making it into the top worldwide competitions. And a very nice pick-up by the Guerillas. The 21 year old midfielder has huge potential and will most likely be a worldbeater in the future.

Aleks: And he will probably be an Outcast beater in the first year with his new club. With the 3.3 million pound price tag he better be worth it straight away or they may be in a world of hurt. Next in the line-up we have Edmund Ho Hau Wah for Macau United.

Edmund Ho Hau Wah: Good Evening everybody, Macau United would like to draft Keko please. Thanks.

Aleks: Hmmm a very interesting deal there, picking up a young 16 year old who can play on the right or centre is good, even better he cost them nothing.

Des: Well after that low baller we see Lower League Rules coming in and he has a great look on his face and an AD Escobar shirt thrown over his shoulder. I guess he knows who he wants already.

LLR: Well Ladies and Gentlemen we have seen a showcase of some of the best uncapped players in the world tonight already, but there has been an extreme focus on the attacking end of the park. I wanted an anchor for my squad, someone who could play in the middle of the park and lead the squad at the same time. So after all that you all should've guessed that I am picking the next big thing... Franco Zuculini. Young and huge potential, you all better watch out.

Aleks: Well we will catch you all on the otherside of this break. With only ten more picks left in the 1st round we should see some excitement.

Des: Good to see that the boys who started this idea have made a good pick up, a good strong midfielder with a huge future, if he can grow as he should under the Escobar coaches he will be a force to be reckoned with.

Aleks: With an asking price of only 180,000 pounds they have got a pretty good bargain as well, now we move across the world to Estonia and we see the Tallin Ice Bears lining up for their pick.

Uusinjsh: I am very glad to be here, and now I am going to show why the Ice Bears are going to be winning the first ever Outcasts Premier League Title, as we sign Vincenzo Fiorillo, some strength infront of the net will guarantee our domination.

Aleks: Well there were a lot of clubs who had him on their shopping lists, but the Ice bears have wrapped him up late in the 1st round. The 18 year old goalkeeper is one of the biggest stars of the future on everyone's scouting list. Even if he never settles in Tallin, they will get a huge fee if he moves.

Des Tiny: A very nice and devious signing, they look to be building a very good defense and then adding an attacking side later on. Nice work by the Estonians. Next up is Blanco and his Nepalese Sherpa Tenzing Norgay.

Blanco gets to the rosterum but stands there silent, until Norgay steps up to the microphone.

Norgay: I apologise for my bosses silence, we select Kim Heung-Keun to join Kathmandu Valley.

Tiny: Oh well we have a shock signing here, little known youth from South Korea, a great find by Blanco if he turns int the star he expects, and no signing fee is even better.

Aleks: Yeah I must agree that is a great silent pick-up, one of the out of left-field signings that we had to expect sooner or later. At only 18 he has a real shot at being something in the future.

Tiny: Now we are just waiting for Togiola Tulafono from Pago Pago, he will be making the next pick.

Togiola Tulafono: Well I am delighted to be representing American Samoa, and we shall choose Alessandro Tuia.

Tiny: A young star with a huge future, Togiola is clearly picking a future star defender for his side. Will be interesting to see what comes of it.

Aleks: Well I must say a young defender is always a good signing, but now lets see who Brettney Joven and The Maldives want.

Brettney1980: I am disappointed to have missed out on Fiorillo, good work Uusinjsh, but it doesn't matter we have our own signing in mind. Male Fandita will be picking Josh Lambo to join our squad.

Des: Well he said he wanted Fiorillo, but really with the choice of another young Goalie he has probably gone one better and cheaper as well. Josh Lambo has to be one to watch in the future, If the Division One strikers can score on him it will be a miracle.

Radakovic: I must say I wouldn't have even been thinking about Fiorillo if I had known about this Lambo character, now just looking at his history he is the best young goalie around. And moving on at the podium now we have James-99 of the Eskimos.

james-99: Iceland needed a kick in the pants and now we have it, I am going to pick Loic Nester to help us out.

Aleks: There seems to have been a run on the defense, so the early teams wanted an attacker, and the late teams are going to play defensively. This is going to be a great league set-up Des.

Tiny: Well thank you Aleks, I must say Loic Nestor looks like a solid defender with plenty of potential, he is pretty fast and averagely strong, once he gets on the park he should be a star. Iceland may have made a smart pick there. Now lets see what Brunei have for us, right after this ad break. We'll see you all on the other side with the final five picks of the 1st round and also a nice round-up of the draft as it stands.

Coldkohmew: Evening all, hope you have a great night watching all of us here. Well we have decided with our first pick to take Corry Evans.

Radakovic: An compelling signing there, the 17 year old defender or midfielder has some good potential, should be good to see him in a couple of years if he makes the step up to The leopards Senior side.

Tiny: Makes the step up? If he is not in the starting XI for this team from day one I would be shocked, he is one of the best players Brunei have. Good signing from The Leopards, he will be very versatile. Next here comes Biggy from Turkmenistan.

Biggy: Yo Peeps, I decided we would go with a different tactic, we will select Arnold Kruiswijk, have a great evening and I will see you all again soon.

Tiny: A different tactic? I am confused.

Aleks: Don't look at me I am baffled at how that is different, He has picked a 23 year old Central Defender who will step straight into the squad, its not that different from the rest. Well maybe he means something we can't see right now.

Tiny: Well whatever he means I am sure we will find out, now with only three picks left in the round we will hear from Denther for San Gwann.

Denther: A delightful atmosphere here tonight, I've spent the hours so far just soaking it up as we were a long way down the list. It seems that even being near the end I can still get the pick I wanted first, San Gwann will draft Adam Pepper.

Tiny:
A huge signing, the 16 year old striker will be the future of the Maltese football club. Now all they need is some salt to go with him and San Gwann will be a threat.

Aleks: I am not sure they actually need to pick up another striker, Pepper alone will wreak havoc on opposition defenses in the future. And with the news that the North Koreans are unable to make it for the 28th pick in the first round that means that Serangoon will be the final team to pick, so here is Ben Arsenal.

Ben Arsenal: Evening all, a great night, I shall have to pick up Jádson as our pick in the first round, and I'll see you all again shortly with my 2nd round pick.

Tiny: Well a slightly older player picked by Ben there, but a 24 year old midfielder will be a good solid player in this league. He may not have an amazing amount of room for improvement, but he will be in control from the beginning.

Aleks: Wrapping up the final round is Ben's pick. A nice choice there, I think it is time for us to wrap up the round. With 6 teams missing that means there have been 22 picks in the first round.

I have had another application for a club, so I have given him a chance to get his players in and the sign-up form completed, because I believe in more the merrier, but I need it before I head away, he will replace Macau Utd in the league if he completed the details.

Also I am not going to write it up, but Belize City has selected Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior as their first round pick for 275,000 pounds. I will be continuing the second and third round write-ups today and also informing everyone who their Marquee Players are.

The Draft Continues

Well since the end of round one we had Belize City turn up and make their bids, so they have picked up one more player and now we will begin the second round. As this is not as important as the first round we will stay silent during the picks themselves and we will have some discussion afterwards.

Code:
Round 2
                          Player
28. FC Pyongyang None
27. Serangoon Slingers Rustam Khudzhamov
26. San Gwann Mykola Morozyuk
25. FC Dasoguz Salvatore Bocchetti
24. Harimau Bintang Colin Coates
23. Reykjavik Eskimos Leo Schwechlen
22. Male Fandita Eric
21. Pago Pago Univ Daniel Parejo
20. Kathmandu Valley Rinar Valeev
19. Tallin Ice Bears Martin Galvan
18. AD Escobar Radja Nainggolan
17. Macau Utd Guiseppe Nuvoli
16. Masaya Guerillas Alex Smithies
15. Belize City Juan Forlin
14. Hong Kong Juk Kau None
13. St Agatha Denys Vasin
12. Torshavn Nicola Amoruso
11. Kingston Red Stripes None
10. University of Guam Jan Blazek
09. Auckland Maori None
08. Balzers Badgers Gonzalo Bergessio
07. Astana Utd Marek Suchy
06. Rangoon FC None
05. Polynesian FC Michael Zullo
04. Delhi Tigers Dario Venitucci
03. Blue Star Pedro Leon
02. Tirana Utd Christian Gimenez
01. Baku Bats Reynaldo
Well some interesting pick-ups, the early grouping of Ukranians while expected was a bit of fun, now will Mykola be the Salt to Adam's Pepper? Galvan, Nainggolan, Forlin and Suchy were all expected to go in this round of the draft, and there were a lot of teams interested in them. Good to see them all settle in different places.
A spattering of young talent all around the teams has meant a great set-up here. And onto the third round where the order is the same as the first round again.

It seems in the final round that every single team went for the young stars, the future looks bright for the Outcasts League I must say. Now while this has been going on there has been a team taking into account the bids for Marquee Players. Now remember the bid must be 2/3rds of the value of the player, and it could be any player so long as they could afford it from their bank balance. Here is a quick rundown of the players that have been picked up.

Code:
Marquee Club Player Bid
Hamuel Masaya Edgar Cani 3m
Lomedae St Agatha Maor Bozaglo 1.8m
Joetheref Balzers Francisco Guillermo 3m
Blanco Kathmandu Bojan 5m
Uusinjsh Tallin Carlos Vela 5m
Gooner Delhi Tigers Mauricio 200k
Dmachine Polynesia FC Javi Martinez 4.5m
Brettney Fandita Claudio Bellucci 600k
Biggy Dasoguz Dmitry Torbinskiy 3m
LLR AD Escobar Rene Adler 3.5m
NickC Torshavn Ben Strevens 200k
Coldkohmew Leopards David Beckham 2m
ManuCelt Astana Matias Fernandez 4.2m
James-99 Eskimos Victor Valdes 6.5m
Ben Arsenal Serangoon Geromel 2m
Hursty Baku Bats Giuseppe Rossi 5.5m
Denther San Gwann Lucho Gonzalez 3m
Jsalter Guam Pumas Juan Roman Riquelme 5m
AdzH Belize City Marek Hamsik 3.5m
              Macau Utd Ridge Munsy 0
              Pago Pago Igor Akinfeev 3.5m
So now I will update the opening posts, I will work through setting up the database and hopefully have it ready to run as soon as I return from holiday on Monday. Sorry i didn't post up the later rounds properly, but it was too much and would delay the start of the sign-up
