    Nottm Forest 1 - 0 Chelsea

A young striker I have (17) just scored as a subsitute on his league debut. 82nd minute and MILES offside (But who's complaining?). 2nd in league by 1 pt from Man Utd, but they have a game in hand. 15games into season, 29pt haul for me, 30 for them in 14. - 9/3/2 for Manu, 9/2/4 for me.

    Bayern Munuch 0-0 Bochum

I resigned from QPR after managing them to a relegation after my promotion and 2 seasons in the Premier League. Took me 2 years to get another top flight job, but Bochum were in trouble. Managed to stay clear of relegation and finish 12th (of 18) in the first season, and now have next to no cash to spend. Luckily I managed to get 7 players in on Bosmans but my wage bill is through the roof. Got an attacking line up now and am unbeaten after 4 games in my second term as their manager. Here's to stabilising!

    Gillingham 0 - 7 Leeds

This was a totally unexpected result given that i had sanchez watt sent off on the 30th minute with leeds leading 1 - 0, One of my winter signings Kieron Cadogen got a brace, Richard Naylor scored a hattrick with Jermaine Beckford and Neil Kilkenny rounding off the scoring. With only 2 points seperating 1st and 4th and only 3 games to go leeds should secure league one's 1st place with the next two matches, still nervy going into them.

I'm Arsenal beat Liverpool 2-1 in FA cup Semi. Song sent off after 30 seconds for going in late and hard in the middle of the pitch for no reason. I was furious but kept my composure, made a few tactical changes but didn't want to sit back because I knew they would come at me and score. I went 441 made everyone a support role rather than either defend or attack. I also told my players to press more. After they went 1-0 up I changed to Overload and controlled the last 15 minutes. I almost went 3-1 up but Arshavin looked knackered and ran out of steam. I've never been so proud of a bunch of pixels

I am so pleased with this win, as soon as Tevez scored before the shootout I was fairly sure we would lose.

Coloccini scored the winner in the shootout, which is such a great way for him to end his career, he is retiring after this game.

Nice one Hershie I quite like playing Real, aslong as I'm an elite club cos they seem to be less good tactically as some other big clubs. It's just the players they have that need to be kept under control, which is a hard thing soemtimes.

11.3.2028 Serie A. Top of the league two points ahead of AC Milan but they have a game in hand.

Edit AC just drew their game in hand, so clear at the top now.

Most importantly because it saw City dropped down to 5th in the league and out of the CL after they won the prem for the last 3 seasons

I put here my five latest games with Werder Bremen. Season three has just begun. Last season we won Bundesliga and German cup.

First round of German cup: Borussia Neunkirchen-Werder Bremen 0-4
    13" Victor Moses 0-1
    18" Mesut Özil 0-2
    49" Miroslav Klose 0-3
    79" Tim Borowski 0-4

First round of Bundesliga: Werder Bremen-Stuttgart 3-0
    pen 22" Mesut Özil 1-0
62" Ruben De La Red 2-0
    71" Miroslav Klose 3-0

Second round of Bundesliga: Bayer Leverkusen-Werder Bremen 1-3
    2" Miroslav Klose 0-1
    14" Per Mertesacker 0-2
    40" Miroslav Klose 0-3
    65" Vagner Love 1-3

Third round of Bundesliga: Werder Bremen-Borussia Dortmund 1-0
    35" Marko Marin 1-0

Fourth round of Bundesliga: Hoffenheim-Werder Bremen 0-1
    45" Marko Marin 0-1

So, season has started well, but last two matches have been more difficult. We have had problems to create enough scoring chances. Still, currently we are unbeaten.

    Everton 1-2 Man City

They went 1-0 up to a dodgy penalty, then things got worse - Akinfeev was sent off for handling outside the box. SWP saved me with 2 goals in the last 15 minutes.

    Aarau 1-4 Zollikon

We went 1-0 down pretty quickly but then my striker with 10 goals in 9 league games this year equalised and my star 17 year old left winger (already best at the club) scored his 7th of the season to put us 2-1 up. My backup/prospect right winger signed from Barcelona this summer scored the third with 5 minutes to go and my 19 year old centre midfielder that came through the youth academy and is a potential captain in the future scored his first of the season from the edge of the box.

We're now 2nd in the Axpo Super League with 18 points from 9 games, behind St. Gallen with 19 points and ahead of Young Boys who have 17 points.

Now onto the Champions League against Dinamo Kiev

    UEFA Champions League Final 2033/34

    Roma 4 - 3 Hamburger SV

It amazes me how this game still has the ability to ruin my day. Literally felt like I got cheated out of this game.

Went a man down after 5 minutes (should have given up then) and then scored; they instantly replied. I scored again; they instantly reply again. I somehow manage to find a third goal and then they get a freekick just outside the box where it'd be almost impossible not to score. 3-3. To round it all off, as I'm kicking off after conceding a third goal, my striker tries to pass to my midfielder, it goes horribly wrong and their striker picks it up, skins half my team and slots away the 4th with the last highlight of the game (even though it's in the 74th minute of the game!). When the computer wants to win, it'll win.

In all honesty we should have scored more, but for their keeper and our sloppy play infront of goal, we only got the 5.

    Barcelona 1 - 4 Valencia

Not actually my last result, but a shock home defeat for Barça, that provides my Granada CF with their first ever Liga BBVA title.

They needed at least a draw to stay in the chase with their game in hand. A hat-trick from David Villa proved the difference, in a game Barça actually dominated in every aspect, apart from goals.

    Ireland 2-1 Italy

James Shea scored 22 seconds into his international debut, Robbie Keane scored eight minutes later. I then held on for 81 minutes, Italy scoring on 65 from a De Rossi wonder-strike. It still isn't enough to get automatic World Cup qualification, but it's made my day.

    Burnley 0-1 Everton

Looked like it was going to peter out into a disappointing draw, but captain for the game, Tim Cahill, got on the end of a Pienaar cross to slot home the winner 15 minutes from time and continue the recovery from a disastrous start to the season.

After winning everything many times over with Chelsea decided to start over at the bottom of the Premiership. Lost the first two matches 0-1 to Bolton and 2-1 to Man City, really needed this one to generate some momentum. Steven Fletcher with a brace and Jay Rodriguez added another in stoppage time.

Season 2017/2018 Champions league final, my first one, with Wishaw.

    Wisahw 0 - 2 Genoa

It was a pretty even game but all 3 of my strikers, who had been scoring tons all season, just could not put the ball in the back of the net. I was absolutely gutted as i had managed to put out liverpool and a few other big teams just to get there.

    Celtic 0 - 1 Aberdeen

Had gone 7 games unbeaten and 6 games won in a row until the team lying 7th in the SPL 21 points behind us turn up and Paul Hartley having been released by us last season steps up and scores a penalty in the last minute of the first half. Were all over them in the second half but they managed to cling on to put us 4 points behind Rangers with 27 games played. My next match is Rangers away as well, since it's basically a title decider the Aberdeen result couldn't have happened at a worse time.

Lost 2-0 in the League to Spurs (as Forest). Not happy. Both goals from Modric and I had 72% pocession and wasted it with no clear-cut chances and 10 shots out of 14 from long range.

    Oxford Utd 1 Peterboro 0 (Pre-season friendly)

BSP Oxford soaked up 80 minutes of pressure from L1 Peterboro and then I brought on a couple of subs to relieve my tired s0-called first team players and we get an 84th minute winner. Top result if only in pre-season

    Sunderland 1-3 Birmingham

Second game of first season. Bounced back delightfully after a shock loss at home to Blackburn. Really pulled our finger out in this match

A certain Englishman, who play in CM scored a 35yard free kick 3 minutes into his debut.
Then after the break a Brazilian; LB/RB/LWB/RWB/LW/RW player scored another screamer from around the same area. This time from open play.
Another Brazilian AML/ST then finished off the game with a Close range finish.

    (N) Then they score.
    B*stards.

    Man Utd 4-0 Sporting CP

    Cristian Sorribas (24) [regen]
    Yoann Gourcuff (pen 45, 48)
    Wayne Rooney (50)

Gourcuff's second was the best of the game. A wonderful counter attacking move involving the other two goalscorers.

Decent draw; but doesn't help my relegation battle much. Only one point off the drop - and I'm 14th.

    Bayern 0-1 Stuttgart

Just a league game, but it's always been hard for me to beat Bayern away, but my last game against them was a little different. They seem to be struggling more this season (2020-2021) than years past though.

    LC Final 2017
    Man Utd 2 - 1 Arsenal

I'm a bit disappointed really, as I played my first team, bar Aguero and Vukcevic who was injured. I still expected more goals. Only Evans and Welbeck(2) got a good rating. Lars Bender was nervous all through the second half and Douglas Costa got an impact-knock so I desided to sub him after 70 minutes. Tosic disappointed as his replacement (for once!).
Still; we won a final against Arsenal..

One of my proudest results, managing England and beat Egypt 3-1 in a friendly, I know throughly unimpressive.

Good result to wrap up another season. Fell to my old team Roma in the Quarter Final of the Champions League and went out to Bayern München in the Quarter Final of the German Cup, but we won the league.

    Premier League
    Sheffield Wednesday 2 Middlesbrough 0

12th in the league after 9 games. Not too bad for relegation favourites, still a long way to go though.
This result particularly impressed me because Middlesbrough have been in Europe the last two seasons.

Irish League Matchday 16, 2010/11 Season

    Loughgall 0-4 Linfield

All four scorers notched their first of the season here, Tomelty cracked in goal of the month to start it off (think Shearer v. Everton a few years ago), with his sexy long shot stat of 6, big bad John Ovenstone headed in number 2, former Watford teenager Kurtney Brooks shanked one into the top corner for his 1st senior goal and Tommy Stewart knocked in the runner up in the goal of the month to round it off.

All in front of a white hot atmosphere at Lakeview Park, where 159 punters packed the terraces and caused a buzz that can only be described as 'apathetic'...

    Real Madrid 4 - 3 Sevilla

Brings it up to 16 games won in a row. And was my 50th league game since taking over them. And was Real Madrids 50th league game without a loss in a row (not that it is that hard to)

And btw, both my full backs got sent off at 67 and 69... but was up 4-2 then so np.

oh man what a match I just had !

April 2028 Champions League Quarter Final 2nd leg @ Anfield

1st leg was 1-1 in Germany - Liverpool Vs FC Bayern

my star striker Luis had 3 dissalowed goals in the 1st half, all for offside ! Unbelievable

I was down 0-1 at half time and down 1-2 on aggregate.

I pull a couple changes and I end up getting 4 second half goals and Luis scores 1 of them, FC Bayern funny enough claim Luis 2nd half goal was offside. So going from anger/heartbreak to complete and utter joy !

    Congratulations

Starting to crack on with my Blyth save.

    08/10/2011 - Blue Square Premier

    Blyth Spartans 3 - 2 York City

    Ciftci, Quinn, Evans.

Cracking game, went 2-1 down but pulled it back to 3-2 within 10 minute, then held out for three points. The winner from Micah Evans was fantastic, skinned a centre-back and slammed it into the top near corner.

That's five straight wins and pushes me into 3rd. Newport and Rushden are 5 points clear though given a few too many draws early on from us.

Just been given Lewes at home in the FA Cup 4th Qual. Rd. which gives us every chance of making the competition proper. We reached Round 2 of the FA Cup last year

    11/10/2011 - Blue Square Premier

    AFC Wimbledon 0 - 3 Blyth Spartans

    Evans (2), Ciftci.

With two key players in Craig and Ozkayup missing out due to youth internationals, and a general fatigue coming only three days after the York game, this was a sensational result against a solid AFC Wimbledon.

It was a deceptive score - on another day AFC could have had three themselves, but were denied by the heroics of St. Louis-Hamilton in goal, tipping on to the bar twice.

Nadir Citfci and Micah Evans were ruthless up top - Evans picked up his 10th goal in 14 games.

That means six wins in a row with fifteen goals scored. A surprising 4-0 loss to lowly Bath means that Newport are only two points ahead in 2nd, whilst Rushden lead the pack five points away from the mighty Spartans!

    Gateshead 0 Weston-super-Mare 1

    Uwuzu (penalty)

    Conference Premier, 2011-12, fifth game.

Usual thing: Gateshead missed a load of chances, and so did Weston. Gateshead went down to ten men just before half-time, and Weston got a soft penalty. Unusual thing: it was converted. Weston up to 11th on the back of this (won 2, drawn 2, lost 1), but it has been a definite step up from BSS - the main problem is getting decent MCs, and persistent injuries to both left-backs. Plus, my semi-reliable SCs (including the wonderful Ade Akinbiyi) are firing blanks on an industrial scale...

In my 2nd season in the Welsh Premiership with Neath, finished top first season, lost out on Champions league 4th qualifier, but got into europa league.

Last match, last game of group:

    Neath 4 - 0 Heerenveen

Ended up finishing 3rd in the group

Getafe and Koln went through. More updates on the Mission Impossible thread - Wales!

Wow. The difference from last season couldn't be more striking. We came into this game on the back of a 4-1-2 record in the last 7 games, but no win in two games. Sociedad were a place above me in 9th, but with a few injuries. We lined up in a 4-5-1 formation, as Sociedad were reported to be effective against 4-4-2 and 4-4-1-1. GK Vito Mannone started, Andrea Gasparetto was put in at right back for the suspended Anaitz Arbilla, otherwise the team picked itself. On the bench was a 16 year old striker Andrés Símon, a product of our own youth system.

The whistle had barely faded before Sociedad went 1-0 up. The defence parted like the Red Sea and allowed the Sociedad midfielder to score a placed shot. A goal down after a minute and we were rocking. Throughout the first half we were second best to everything, couldn't seem to mount any attack of worth. Sociedad went 2-0 up after 34 mins, a fantastic 30 yard free-kick leaving Mannone totally stranded. Alarm bells were ringing... Half time and we looked bedraggled and lost as the players trooped into the dressing room.

I read the riot act, accused them of having no heart and no desire. This woke them up. I then changed formation to a 4-1-3-2, reasoning that things couldn't get much worse. Honour was restored right after half-time as Nacer Barazite finished strongly from a long through ball. 2-1 and we'd instantly looked better! Ten minutes later, Kerlon turned the Sociedad defender in knots on the edge of the area and fired a low shot which the keeper saved, but steaming in to net the rebound was Kike. 2-2 and we were up to score a winner. However, five minutes later, Sociedad turned the tables and netted the go-ahead goal after a weak clearance from the defence dropped to the Sociedad striker on the edge of the box.

I then took off Jason Culina, bringing on Nuno Coelho as an immediate response and we got one. Kerlon again assisting as his perfectly-weighted through ball setting up Kike again to ram home from 6 yards. 3-3. I would have never been able to mount this kind of a comeback last season! I then took the tiring Kerlon off and sent on Andrés Símon for his first League appearance for the club.

74 minutes and a deep corner to the back post found José Moratón who headed home with aplomb! 4-3! But the fun didn't stop there...

The young lad's first ever goal in his first ever league appearance. I was totally made up for him and that goal put us up 5-3. This goal also wrote him into Salamanca and Liga Adelante history as the youngest goalscorer in their history! Incredibly, the Sociedad defence gifted us one more goal with their right back taking out Kike on a run and conceding the penalty on 88 minutes which Daniel Aquino duly dispatched. 6-3 and out. Fantastic. I could never have dreamed of this last season and it bodes well for the rest of the season!
