Steam wont run game

When i clip in steam short cut, it comes up saying game unavailable try again later, tried again does not work... i then read through posts about getting the shortcut from fm09.exe but when try and drag short cut it comes up with "window cannot findC\program. Mke sure you typed the name correctly, and try again" any one help

have you made a shortcut or have you dragged the icon away from the other files?
