FM 2008 problem

As my computer cannot handle FM 2009 I am still playing FM 08.

Now, I think this may be a bug. At first I thought it was my save file corrupted. But I don't think it is.

The problem is I cannot process past May 16th 2015. Every time it gets to this point, it just stops and says "not responding".

I know the majority of this board is now designed for FM 2009, however I thought this was the forum to place this.

I hope it is just a bug issue that can be fixed by a patch.

Any help would be appreciated.

There's a bug in 09 where the game crashes if you make the Italian serie C league playable, I don't know if this bug was in 08 but if you have loaded that league I'd say it's fairly likely to be the same bug.

1. Log a bug an upload a saved game file so SI can have a look

2. Restore to the last save and try going on holiday to get past this point

I add:

Put it in window mode to get past the date.

Have tried to holiday past this date, it freezes on the same date when doing this.

I don't know if they still look at bugs from FM08 but they might.
