After I bid on Everton's James Vaughan, they counterbid for Salvador Nieto and Graham Corbett, two of my wonderkids. Of course, i rejected. I would gladly pay more money rather than sell my young guns.

However, a day later, my physio reports that both of them are out for one month respectively, Corbett after straining himself in the weights room and Nieto after miscatching a ball!

Did Everton cast some voodoo?

I have bid for 2 players on my game, both regens, both got injured straight after rejection! and I'm not making this up, one of them was a dutch left back and the other was a japanese midfielder! Andrew Janssen and Kim-Do Hyoon! However I have bid for a lot of players and got rejected in my 6 seasons, but these are the only times the player has been injured straight after the rejection.
