PERCIVA11 Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 It seems to happen in any season I do it in, and that is.. selling players and then they score 1-4 goals against me. I currently played West Brom with my Everton team and lost 2-1. Louis Saha scored 2. (Sold him for 3.4m) I then played 2 games after that, Newcastle. I had sold James Vaughan to them for 5.75m. He went on to bang in 1 and set up 2 making my team fail to win and draw 3-3. Last of all I had sold Osman to Sunderland for 4m. Scores 1 sets up 1, yet I win 4-2. Last time I can remember that happening is on CM03/04 when Rooney scored against me in the CL final, but we still won so I had the last laugh. Perhaps it's just that when I sell them they've passed their peak, or maybe they love me so much the prospect of scoring against me upsets them too much.
