Unrealistic

Just want to say sorry if this is in the wrong place, i just didnt think it would fit one of the other catergories.

Im currently playing FM09 and am in 2011 and believe it or not but a Rich Arab person has just taken over Hartlepool (who are sitting 20th in league 1) and has promised to spend whatever it takes to make them the biggest club in the world.

Personally I think this is a tad unrealistic, but hey at least it gives me hope that someone might come and buy Luton (team im managing) and give me millions and millions to spend.

Just wondered has anyone else had something along these lines?

Takeovers are a bit random, but to be fair look what happened to QPR in real life. Rather than go for a top flight team, Bernie and Flavio Briatore still went for a second tier club...

Its called a tycoon takeover, rich sugardaddy takes over the club and gives it loads of money.

Mmm see wot your saying but in todays footballing world crazy stuff happens 6 month ago would you off thought man city would become richest club in world and see robhino playing for them.Dont get me wrong you would think a mega rich man would look at a championship team before a league 1 but like i say crazy things happen in football now.Keep a eye on them see how they do:thup:
