Some of the best players for Man Utd and Chelsea and even that Brazillian bloke who signed for Man City are all on well in excess of £100k a week. The Bundesliga is richer than the English Premier League these days, so to see some of Bayern's top players on this kind of money is completely realistic in my opinion. Honestly, it is. The Bundesliga teams earn more in TV rights and sponsorship money than the Premier League teams do. Can't remember where I read that, but it was a respected publication somewhere. The outlay on player’s wages rose 44% from €106.1 million to €153 million but that is an acceptable development according to Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge."
