Bug? Real? Unrealistic?? You Decide

Recommended Posts

I don't think it's extreme at all. Some of the best players for Man Utd and Chelsea and even that Brazillian bloke who signed for Man City are all on well in excess of £100k a week.

The Bundesliga is richer than the English Premier League these days, so to see some of Bayern's top players on this kind of money is completely realistic in my opinion.

Well...................Bundesliga richer than Premiership these days I don't think so maybe some teams like Hoffenheim so on but overall no way.

Honestly, it is. The Bundesliga teams earn more in TV rights and sponsorship money than the Premier League teams do. Can't remember where I read that, but it was a respected publication somewhere.

Take a look at Bayern Munchen players wages;

Philipp Lahm 125,000 per week

Luca Toni 155,000 per week

Frank Ribery 140,000 per week

Willy Sagnol 110,000 per week

Is this real?, a bug?, Unrealistic?

Any ideas?

In mine it's:

Lahm - 93k

Toni - 110k

Ribery - 89k

Sagnol - 77k

"The wages the club pay out have of course risen with the arrival of the ‘superstars’. The outlay on player’s wages rose 44% from €106.1 million to €153 million but that is an acceptable development according to Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge."
