The EPL - Football's Answer To The IPL (sign up)

Hello and welcome to my second sign up which is loosely based on Birdy123’s Premiership Draft signup.

The FA has decided to make the Premiership more even as the same teams are challenging for the title each year so has disbanded all 20 teams in the Premiership and split England up into 20 regions which will all be put into the Premiership. The regions will most probably be divided up into counties and the FA wants the teams to be given catchy names to improve interest in this closer league. The 20 teams will take part in an auction for players as all 20 teams will inherit a squad with no players in it. Basically it is “football’s answer to the Indian Premier League in cricket.”

But before a bid is made people will have to sign up and fill out the form for your teams manager which I will post later on in this post. They will be given one of the new teams in the Premiership, which are now equal in terms of reputation, balance, stadium size etc and I shall post the list of players you can bid for. You will also have to pick a name for your region involving the regions name, for example in the IPL teams were called Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Daredevils.

I will only post the list of goalkeepers first as the bidding will go in rounds. So the people who sign up will have 4 days to send in their bids for keepers. You can send in as many bids as you want but have to have them in a list of priorities, so the three successful bids that are the highest on your list of priorities will be the goalkeepers you sign. Also, the price next to the players is just the lowest price players can be bought for, so for example I couldn't offer £6 million for Hugo Lloris as his value is £7 million but I could offer £7 million or above. You may offer a quarter, a half, three quarters or a whole million for players but not a tenth of a million or something along those lines.

Obviously not everyone will sign the right amount of players so after the first round of bidding the signing made so far will be announced and the list of players trimmed to whoever is left and then the people without three goalkeepers will bid again for however many rounds it takes for everyone to sign the right amount of players. However, if it takes a ridiculous amount of time I may just use the draft system for the people who haven't signed enough players.

Once the goalkeepers are finished I will move onto the defenders of which you will need to sign 7 of them. Then midfielders, which you will also need to sign 7 of. And finally attackers, which you will need to sign 5 of. As you can not sign any other players before you have signed the goalkeepers etc you will need to manage your £150 million budget carefully so don't come crying to me when you only have £20 million to spend on 5 strikers. Now you have to fill out this form and add yourself to the list of players.

Also I am going to be quite strict on missing deadlines, if you miss TWO at any time, doesn't have to be consecutively, you will be removed from the sign up and people on the reserve list will take your place. Unfortunately if they are removed when we are bidding for strikers then you will have to keep the original players squad, but can change the manager and club name etc.
