JoeyGallagher
Well i was thinking if we could see more interactive roles from physios, for example, currently we do know greater stats in physiotherapy gives you a better idea of when a player is returning. i was thinking if it would be possible to see how individual injured players are working with physios back to fitness. e.g toure out for 2 weeks hamstring injury (currently working with gary lewin on his injury) and perhaps you could choose specific physios for specific players to work with, e.g. gary lewin is a specialist in hamstring injuries, which would be an obvious choice. And furthermore, workload for physios? too many injuries to handle maybe? Well just my thoughts as i could'nt think of another need for 4 physios at a club. Ozzy38
Seems a bit pointless What would make one physio a better choice for one player and not for another?
VonBlade
Maybe with the current system it's pointless, but with a small db addition to give each physio an injury speciality, then it could be useful. Because right now you only need a single good physio and he can handle a hundred injuries without breaking a sweat, whereas a coach struggles with more than about 20 players. So it would give a reason for these large backroom staffing levels. I like it. Assuming that the DB could be adjusted and that it was implemented correctly. Ozzy38
Because right now you only need a single good physio and he can handle a hundred injuries without breaking a sweat Well that's not strictly true (at least in FM07 so I assume FM09 too). If you have more physios of the same level, the injuries will be shorter than if you only had one. There are other factors that come into it though. I have a fairly big squad, but that was the case for me.
bored101
erm maybe it would be a good idea. would be a nice featureto see physios having specialitys like hamstrings and such as physios IRL have better skills at certain injuries than others.
