What the Hell?

Ok.

I have just purchased the game on steam, on my first computer it installed fine, now i want it on my laptop.

After a painful 2 and a half download, which stated it would be 1 hour i am so overjoyed to play this game.

So i click "Launch Game" only to get an error which goes along the lines of D3dx***** (the * represent characters which i cannot remember) cannot be found, try to re install.

As you can imagine i was extremely annoyed and forgot to print screen, and am now in the process of reinstallation.

But is there anyway i can overcome this? for future refrence?

Make sure your direct x version is up to date.
