I can't seem to go on holiday and every time I go to it, it takes me to the status screen (which shows players, playing time etc etc)

Is this a well known bug or is something wrong?

Is there a way to get around this?

It's a well known bug in the case of cracked games

It normally happens when a user is using an illegal copy of the game.

Stop being stingy, its nto time for christmas shopping yet, so you can't use that excuse. Buy the game and no problem will be had.
