Rams_ Posted November 22, 2008 Share Posted November 22, 2008 Started Unemployed. Got a job with Hyde United in the Conference North. Started very well, I thought this was too good to be true. Won 4 and drew 2 of the opening 6 games. But then things got a lot worse At one point we ended up going 14 games without a win, quite why the same tactics stopped working was a mystery to me but we ended up in the relegation zone. Several own goals and people with long shot stats of 4 banging in 35 yard screamers, rarely less than 3 injuries. Final match of the season, for some reason we were playing the day after everyone else so we knew we had to win to stay up. It was away We were being outplayed. 75 mins in, get our left back sent off. Did I mention we also had by far the worst discipline record despite rarely using hard tackling. 4 minutes of injury time, last chance saloon. Then in the 95th minute (yes, beyond the alloted time) Yankov the Bulgarian slotted in a 20 yard screamer to SAVE US!!! Our only shot on target in the entire game Need a break after that... I think I've signed him in my FMO game Actually he's 42, and apparently retired in RL 6 years ago It's special for me because it was about the second screamer for me.
