Ok, to say im computer-literate would be the biggest overstatement ever. Just one quick question, do you have to do something on STEAM in order to get the patch for the game? Or does it automatically integrate it into the game without the user even doing anything?

Well I couldn't play the game before I downloaded the v9.1 update, but it worked after that, steam obviously didn't bother with that update.

I purchased the game via Steam and the update is already installed on it.
