Work permit

Recommended Posts

Blimey, is the search function really that bad?

He hasn't played enough games for Argentina so he won't get one. The only way to maybe get a WP for him is to send him to a WP feeder club, but even then he may not take citizenship.

My advice is, never buy non EU unless they are guaranteed a WP, otherwise you've wasted your money.

You must have a work permit feeder club and would have been informed when you signed him that he would have to be loaned out. If you don't have a work permit feeder club you wouldn't have been able to sign him at all.

So basically you need to read the news properly before agreeing to sign a non-EU player. The best you can hope for now is that he plays a lot of games for Argentina soon so that you can offer him a new contract and get him that work permit.
