What Graphics Cards for 3D ?

I have been reading these pages with interest over the last few days.

There is no escaping the fact that for a good few of us , should we wish to view the 3D match engine we need to upgrade our graphics cards.

I presume SI are unable to "endorse" specific cards however could someone at SI provide a list of Graphics cards that are suitable for 3D.
