My advice: Dont play 442. look to score more, faster then you can pull back if you feel necessary I'm 4th although I didn't use these tactics everytime as I was experimenting. This is the best I could find. Also signing MARCELO helped Robinho's morale a lot. Ask for his idea for a signing he said Marcelo for me. Oh and the answer about Ireland ^^ is his stats didn't seem too good so i offloaded him because compared to some of the players you can get he is quite poor. My transfers in ... But I would take 4th definitely, but Liverpool don't look like threatening me any time soon they're down in 7th or something. I've played 15 and won 8 and drawn 7, no losses in any competitions as of yet My highlight game has to be beating Chelsea 2-0 goals coming from Benjani and Elano. Benjani is pretty decent I brought him back from the reserves after he came back from injury and he seems to regularly score even though he has an awful finishing stat. Marcelo has been my best buy for 4.4 million absolute class down the left. I've got clubs sniffing after Martin Petrov now, anyone reckon i should sell up? xonnk Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 I started out with City and as many others i did first place objective too, as well as playing with the budget to get more funds, so i went on to buy: Name (Fans confidence in signing him) Arshavin (Very good) Di Maria (Superb) Riquelme (Superb) Palombo (Very good) Radoi (Superb) Zebina (Giving time) Marcelo (Good) Frey (Very good) Arshavin has been playing great but Di Maria has impressed me most, he has the ability to do anything on the wings, while just give the ball to Riquelme and he will either dribble them all and score, or shoot and score, Palombo is a rock, wont let anything past him and a great through ball man, as well as Radoi, Marcelo has bene playing good while Frey is just impressive. My team: Robinho Arshavin Di Maria(Petrov) Elano(SWP) Riquelme Palombo Marcelo Radoi Dunne Richards Frey And after easy wins in first rounds of UEFA, i had a crappy starts with loses to both Mbrough and Sunderland, but then i went on to have 7 consecutive wins in all competitions, including a historic away win to Bolton.
