When I start up FM2008 the white screens (Warchild, Kick Racism out of football etc.) display and fade but when it comes to loading the main menu the screen turns black and the football in the bottom right stops spinning but I can still manoeuvre the mouse. Does anyone know how to get around this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem persists.
It is a legit copy of the game

Thanks, I used the command line --cache_skin=0 and it resolved my issue.
