what's the point of parent competitions?

It's easier to set-up playoffs and overall rules for all child comps. It's also easier to set-up awards that are working for all childcomps. But the main point is that you have a better pyramid system. For example, if you want to add a cup you can chose all clubs from the parent div. instead of adding the 8 comps.

You can set a award for all child competition by setting it for the parent div.

Example:

Player of the week --> LowerLeague (Parent div.) The award goes to the best players from all child div. like LowerLeague group 1, LowerLeague group 2 etc.

1. player from LowerLeague Group one

2. player from LowerLeague Group four

3. player from LowerLeague Group one

This works for all player/manager awards and also for goal of the month.

How does the naming aspect work though? Where do you place the cut off for each individual award in the full name, it usually references which competition it is for?
