How does it work quick match options

Hi,

I play the touch version on a Ipad, so i have the option to make a quick match. In there i have two options: simulate or instant result.

When i choose simulate, i believe that the game is played with my current tactic, but my question is... will my Assist Manager make any changes during the game?

And if Yes, what kind of changes? Will he change the formation, players roles, or only the team mentality?

Yes, your assistant will play as according to your instructions. If you don't select a match plan, he will largely stick to your tactics where he can (though obviously circumstances can dictate changes are made, injuries, fitness, red cards etc).

If you use a match plan, he will alter the tactics accordingly - for example the Settle for the Draw match plan might see the team take the lead, then react by dropping the tempo and reduce your mentality if you started with Attacking/Overload. (Don't quote me on that exact effect, I can't remember the ins and outs of the match plans!)
