bunnybbb
I found DF is very useful for weaker team when comparing to other forward , such as CF, AF, F9 and DLF. If the role need to "move in channel", it requires a lot mental attritube. For dribbling, it requires technique. For DF, it just need to be pacy and high work rate. There are a lot DF supplied in the market with okay mental and techique value. I use single DF in the frontline to keep making pressure to opposite defensive line in attack and defense. Risky passes and dribbling job will be given to the central and wide midfields, who have more space for it. With lots of available DF in the market, it is really value for money for weaker team.
