Maw74 Posted December 23, 2015 Author Share Posted December 23, 2015 I started by making changes to my staff.I was given a transfer kitty of £8.5m and used some to increase the wage budget to £140k per week.Spent just under £2m on transfers.and have over £5m left in the kitty, the squad is rather large so will trim that in time. It was my first ban for ages, I can remember getting a few in my long FM10 game but not had any until now on FM15 despite playing nearly 50 seasons in total, might be because I don't get many chances to criticize decisions in the FMC version. He wants to be a manager but he is willing to join me.This is how he is rated.Now I would probably have to be a bit crazy to give him the job.Considering my current assistant is rated much more highly.Anyway some of the things I do in FM probably are a bit crazy. Maw74 Posted January 16, 2016 Author Share Posted January 16, 2016 Transfers8 new players in 4 of them from Spain, I am expecting great things from Castro & Díez as the 2 biggest signings.Cook was signed as I wanted another keeper to challenge Morrison for the number 1 jersey, there is not muchbetween them but he slightly heads it, McMahon was signed to give competition to Finselbach in the DM Position.The other signings were quite cheap and they will all get ample playing time over the coming season.1st Team SquadResultsOut of 2 cups but not overly concerned about that, after missing out in the play-offs lastseason we want to gain promotion this season, hopefully by avoiding the play-offs though.16 games in and we occupy a play-off place and looks like it will be another tight battle. Should be used to this sort of heartbreak though as on FM10 my team lost 4 Champions League finals in a row before we finally landed the trophy at the 5th attempt, only thing here is it's another 46 game slog in the Championship. Anyway no pain no gain or whatever the silly saying is. I haven't got much in the way of budgets though, got the wage up to £270k but that has since gone down to £265k in order to finance a signing, also that signing is no fee up front but £1.6m when he plays 50 games.
