[FM2016] Leagues World Pack: South America, Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, Oceania

Hi,

Like for FM2013, FM2014 and FM2015, I'll make an effort to deliver some updates of missing countries, trying to make them as realistic as possible on the competition formats and the different rules (limit foreigner, transfer windows, league sorting, dates, break period, effectifs rules, match rules, Bosman law, etc).

ATTENTION: Don't select more 69 updates of countries in same time! Otherwise, there is a crash dump to the creation of the game.

You must extracted the files .fmf directly in the editor data folder without the 7 subfolders.

You can select 76 of my updates (and all original leagues: 69+51= 120 playable countries) in same time (69 countries and the 7 Continental/International Competitions)

Choose "Custom" during the creation of the game or like this:

With these updates and the original leagues, there is therefore now playable with a maximum of realism on the format of competitions and rules:

- All countries in Europe

- All countries in South America (1st and 2nd division)

- The 30 best countries in Asia

- The 20 best countries in Africa

- The 20 best countries in North America (All nations playing CONCACAF Champions League are represented) and the CFU Club Championship qualifiyng for the CONCACAF Champions League (all Carribean Nations are represented).

- The 10 best countries in Oceania

- Addition of 8 Continental/International Competitions.

I always enjoy the African leagues.

Middle Eastern leagues if possible please (mainly UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran).

Lithuania, Latvia, Montenegro, Albania, Armenia, Azerbejdzan, Egypt, Tunis and Faroe Island.

If theres a lack of time, let japan do the japanese guys which so it every year... So claassen could spend time on The other countries!

I will try and do the ones you are not working on.

I am almost done with "cuba" except for the problem that I am not able to select the 2nd division from wizard as it is inactive in the database and it is not allowing to add relegation numbers for "national first division" as I am not able to select the lower league. Any help on how to overcome this.

LOVED your 2015 one, did a fantastic world management before the game finally corrupted. Took me around the world, most successfully in Tahiti! My time in Syria however, was a disaster!

No Venezuela update this year, because of new format of competitions very complicated to reproduce and not enough informations for the 2016 season.

I will do perhaps in january-february...

claassen for some leagues like in Saudi Arabia, Iran, or Qatar there is a 3 foreign player limit + 1 Asian player (4 in total but basically, 3 of any nationality, 1 from an Asian country), will it be possible to reflect that in the game or not? I dont think it was possible in FM15 but maybe FM16? Or am I mistaking?

Please attempt to create the Romania league. I have been trying since the editor came out and I just can't get it right.

Mainly because I don't understand playoff promotions between leagues in the editor.

I love your league files, but I need to play with the team I fell in love with last year. Sadly, they went out of business and are now in Liga IV in Romania.

Montenegro, Vietnam, Thailand and UAE would be amazing! Love your files - looking forward to starting a world save with them again this year.

- Europe: Bosnia, Cyprus, FYR Macedonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro. (Europe completed)

This is more like it, been looking at the around the world thread and just can't understand why anyone wants to spend all that time making fictunal leagues that just crash anyway. I think everyone would rather download these and play a league you can't get at the start of fm which you know has the real structure and teams in it. Excellent work, so far of course would love it if you could make all the leagues that ain't on fm but then again I know that would take FOREVER to do

Also if anyone on here has a few mins would anyone be able to explain how you can unlock these unplayable leagues in the editor?

Click on rules on the top bar > add nation rules > Other nations > pick a nation you want to add.

It'll ask you for a season update day (the day the league "resets") as well as a start/end date, fill in what you want.

Generally speaking most nations already have a division with teams filled in them, so you can just add it (divisions > add)

When the league is added its shown in the lower left bar as well, you can fine tune some settings there.

The advanced editor (used by going to: Rules > Convert to advanced rules) is a completely different beast, but generally not necesarry for basic league adding (most used league structures can be made using the basic editor).

However the Opening/Closing stage format isn't possible with the basic editor, the advanced editor has an option for that though.

This is accesable with by using advanced rules and then going to: Edit > Add advanced rules feature > Opening and closing stage (this comes with an aggregate table for 1 year)

You can add competition/teams in the database as well (then use them in the rules), go to the database tab in the top left menu (below the top bar) and picking the right option.

For example adding a team which doesn't exist into a league.

Go to clubs > add > fill in the relevant information > go to competitions > search the competition you want to add the team to > go to teams in the selected competition > add the team

This is pretty much the basic information you need to get started to make a league playable, the basic editor is intuitive enough.

I suggest adding most of the stuff in the basic editor first, then fine tuning it in the advanced editor IF you need to add some advanced rules.

Thanks for your work. I have one question about your files - do you chenge anything in files after converting them to advanced rules?

Yes, I change many things after converting them to advanced rules! Rules of matchs (especially in the cups), general rules, play off, apertura/clausura, format of many competitions.. etc etc ... which are not possible to do with the basic editor!

Small changes in updates of Andorra, Albania, Faroe Islands, Kazakhstan and Moldova in order to make them yet more realistic

Tomorrow: Cyprus and Bosnia and the updates of Europe, South America and North America will be completed for this year!
