Stuart - CA Bastia

addm48.pngix7dax.png

Well another season and another challange this time at CA Bastia. One of a tiny group of teams who are a Professional outfit in the French national league. Bastia were founded in 1920. we are based in Corsica and Although our historic home stadium is the Stade d'Erbajolo , we play our home games in Armand-Césari, home stadium of Bastia's other professional team, SC Bastia although we are playing in a ground that holds 1,300 in league games, we only play in the Amand-Cesari For our cup games. Below is more info on my side, i hope you follow me all the way to the promised land and onto many victorys over the coming seasons of Football Manager 2016.

eukgn5.png

Has a limit of 1,300 at the moment hope to change that over the seasons to come. As you can see it needs alot of work and a new pant job.

My club

I have just over 200 season ticket holders and our home gates are round the 500 mark. Small in number but make alot of noise.

Manager: Alveré Jacques Tailler

Club: Amiens SC

It's that time again lads. The draft for FM2016 has been done and the boys await our first session on the 16th of November. I was drawn out of the hat with my first choice team still available and therefore, you are now looking at the new Amiens AC manager. The team is in a strong position with a very good midfield and a strong defence, but lacking any actual strikers and attacking midfielders. The obvious downside is that the club is semi-professional and the board don't appear to be entertaining the idea of a becoming professional any time soon. My suspicion is that if (or when) we reach Ligue 2, we will be forced to take up that professional status in order to comply with the rules. This gives us a big incentive to push for promotion from the get go, but with 7 or 8 human managers in the Championnat National, it won't come without a fight.

sri3a04.jpg

The training facilities here are solid. Not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination, but we have a decent base on which to build. The stadium is in good condition and boasts a modest 12k seats. I've got a plan (fingers crossed it actually works) that I'm looking to implement the moment we become professional. I intend on building up a club which is geared towards playing and operating in a non-financially reliant way. This idea might cost plenty of money in the beginning, but in a short period of time, I am hoping we will be turning a substantial yearly profit, whereby our initial investment pays for itself and more.

Red Star Football Club is a French association football club founded in Paris in 1897.

Red Star plays its home matches at the Stade Bauer, but its house will be Stade Pierre Brisson in Beauvais for the next two season due to renovation works in Bauer.

Despite not having clinched a Ligue 1 title, Red Star has a rich history. The club was founded in 1897 under the name Red Star Club Français by French football legend Jules Rimet. Rimet later went on to serve as president of both the French Football Federation and FIFA. The original FIFA World Cup trophy was named in his honour.

Red Star is one of the founding members of Ligue 1 and have spent 19 seasons in the first division; the club's last stint being in 1974–75.

Red Star's youth academy was still very productive until recent years and the likes of Alex Song, Moussa Sissoko and Abou Diaby, all renowned players in English football, came through the club's youth system.

My main goal is to bring back the club to where it belongs and build a solid side in the maximum French league.

Rosa_zpsw5cwz7cg.jpg

We are being predicted to finish 17th, but I think the team has a good base to start immediately to aim at something better. I like the defensive line in particular, it's a mix of well experienced players and interesting talents.

The main midfielder is portuguese Rui Sampaio who always played in first leagues around Europe. The forwards look pretty good as they are but maybe one extra player can be added during the summer window.

Foto%20Rosa_zps3itqnnpq.png

Our temporary stadium is the Pierre Brisson which appears to be nothing special with its 10.000 spots, but as said in the incipit we will be back to our home at Stade Bauer which will offer a bigger number of seats in July 2017.

Facilities are honestly pretty poor compared to the other Ligue 2 competitors. It's surely something we have to improve during the years, maybe the only real weak point I can actually see in this club.

Hello guys and welcome to the US Créteil-Lusitanos press conference where we will be announcing our new manager today.. I first spoke with him the other day and he told me what visions he had for the football club, and how he wants to play.. Having spoke with the other board members he was the obvious choice for the football club going foward.. I would like to announce Robert Stewart as the new manager of US Créteil-Lusitanos

Thank you to the chairman for giving me this chance to become the new manager of this wonderful football club. I had a few offers from different football clubs across the french region, and decided that this club is the one for me, having looked at its background and history and a beautiful part of the world it was the only team for me, I came to this football club to play nice passing and possesion football, Having looked about the squad there is talented and experianced players who will be the main players in this team..

Chamois Niortais is the destination, a squad im confident should allow me to avoid relegation this season and build upon. The team has few decent players that hopefuly can improve. We are desperate for a Left Back and will be on the hunt. Now its time to get the maximum out of this squad and see how far we are from the top sides in the division.

Average training facilites and youth developement. 10k stadium owned by the council, not fancy at all with a running track. The club is due to move into a 12k stadium in 2018. No major sponsors and 2000 members. We defintly need to work on atracting new sponsors and new members to the club. The population of Niort is 60,486 and more than 137,000 people live in the urban area, so in theory it can be done with good results on the pitch.

4nrXBQi.jpg

Founded in 1925 by Charles Boinot, the son of the owner of a local chamois leather factory. The club's badge shows a chamois goat standing on a football. Last 20 years attendances have generally averaged below 5,000 per match due to the club's relatively small fan base.

For the first 20 years of the club's existence they played in local leagues. In 1945, after the Second World War, the side joined the Championnat de France amateur. They achieved promotion to National in 1970 and stayed in the division for the following eight seasons. Between 1980 and 1984, the team played in Division 4 before winning promotion back to National. The club gained professional status for the first time in 1985 when they were promoted to Ligue 2. They played in Ligue 1 for the only time in the 1987–88 season.

US Orleans!!

Orleans%20Badge_zpsbvuhwp3b.png

Well... This is my side for the clan game this year, hopefully I can hit the ground running with this lot and still be posting about them this time next year :p

My team is predicted third in the national division and boasts a good group of players, one slight disappointment for me is the sheer amount of money this club loses per month, the national league is one of very little money and because my club boasts a pretty big wage expenditure we stand to lose a lot of funds over the course of the year.

ill be looking to loan an release or sell anyone I can from the start and bring in 2/3 players of my liking, were there is obvious strengths in this team there is also obvious weakness and it will take a bit of work and sorting to pull this lot up.

Details._zpswjrwwyqi.png

This screenshot provides info about my club, as you can see we got relegated last year and we possess a stadium with 6,863 capacity which is about the 5th best in the league, our facilities are not that bad but not that great either there is certainly better out there at this level.

ORLEANS%20STADIA_zpsfro5zyuo.png

Here is out little match box stadium as pathetic as it looks right now its actually not that bad for this level of football.

So ... the question is what do I expect from my side and what are my aims so early on in the game?

I expect my side to mount a serious challenge providing we don't encounter a fair amount of bad luck throughout the season promotion is the only thing I want from my side, and my aims are to simply play attacking possession football and stabilise the clubs finances so we can grow steadily as a club over the course of this game, one thing I despise on FM is debt I aim to run this club properly and show the lads in the clan who put last years success down to money that I can work at any level under any circumstance, I enjoy being at this level more than anything else the challenge of rising from the unknown excites me.

Well that's enough about me, what do I have to say about the others?

First of all welcome to the clan Rab, Alan and Bruno I hope u lads enjoy your stay its hard to judge u lads as u are new so my eyes will be drawn to use to see how u lot perform.

Last year had a lot of ups and downs for all of us really which kept the game exciting, and being a new game I expect the same again some will start slow and finish with a flourish others will no doubt excel from the off and have a wobble at some point, the guy I'm tipping to be the one to watch is Stuart ( Bastia ) I think he is the dark horse ( not that he will admit it ) but he Is my pick.

I would also say Nicho has a very good chance of pulling away this year being in the league above, he showed real signs of promise last year but as he joined so late it was hard for him to ever mount a serious challenge.

!! GAME ON TOMORROW LADS !! GOOD TIMES !!! till next time.

Here we go! FM16! This time the crazy dane is taking over the pigs of France - Sedan Ardennes!

We're being touted as 17th - so we're a huge underdog with the media predicting absolute and utter failure... And with minimal preparation time this time for me, I'm in for quite a challenge...

NQRI1YE.png

However, as you can see, there's plenty of potential to work with at Sedan... 23K stadium and decent youth facilities should set me up nicely for the future, if I can stabilise the club... We have just under 2.000 season ticket holders, so there's plenty of room for more :)

For my first half of the season, all the work will be in sorting out my tactics and the team, as I haven't even played a competitive game yet in FM16...

<a href=Screenshot_9_zpsiduanw9r.png' alt='Scree

What I'm aiming to do with the club is focus on having a young team and a few old boys to give a bit of experience to the squad so its a total different way I'm going about things compared to the past and any of you that know or remember me and my crazy ways hahahaha will know this so I'm aim to have a youthful team and try to be a feeder of talent in to the system and build up the reputation of the club and bring great success to it and that starts by try to finish in the middle half of the table anything more than this is really just a bonus so onwards and upwards and see if I still had the magic to niricales happen with smaller teams and make them competitive like I will with this semi professional team only time will tell.

After testing before the start of the save with clan the team and tactics I had chosen for a season in single player, where I won the league, I was not expecting to suffer, at least a relaxed mid-table position was the expectation..

Instead we find ourselves fighting for our life in 16th, only one point from relegation, main reason having the staggering figure of 12 draws, where the small element of luck involved in football certainly has been though on us, putting us in a spiral of poor morale and low belief in the players.

The common news have been:

azolHkv.png

xZIaEq9.png

Kn0ax7I.png

In the first months of competition we had 4 penalties which all where missed, which almost certainly would have given us the win if scored (8 points and morale).

Dongou our main man brought in to get the goals has been out around 2-3 months and has had 1 match with full sharpness. We have had lot of problems with our strikers and have had to play with our 5th striker way too much, we have really suffered at not finishing well in the final third.

Some red cards certainly have come at the worst moments possible, affecting us in that much needed belief, a red car in min 28 really leaves you hampered and a couple right before half time.

A key player in midfield Abdelhakim Omrani has been dearly missed for 3 months leaving us with a much lower potential in the midfield transition, we more than glad he is back and hope he can get to match sharpness without any further problems.

TNVmVSR.png

We certainly have plans for a change in our tactical approach but we don't want to make major changes in middle of a season, also we don't have the type of players we need to implement it (Wingers), so we will battle it out with tweaks for the rest of the season.

Now for the second half of the season we hope to convert some of these draws to wins and it will be key to keep Dongou fit. Hopefully we get a run a pick up morale and finish the season without the pressure of relegation.

Finance also is not best with 1.4M in red and that considering we have the lowest wage in the whole competition. hopefully there will be a possible sale end season and the chairman helps out with running cost.

End of season summary

Well the season for me went probably as well as could be expected, we won the league not in what id say stylish fashion as we had more ups and downs than id of liked but we done the job that is the most important thing,

we started the campaign powering away winning 8 games from 8 matches in the league then we went on a 5 game run without a win then yet again another fantastic run :D this cycle kind of happened throughout the season :D

but after tinkering away I feel I got my grip on the game later on in the season and we stopped trying to be fancy and just grinded out results.

my%20table_zpsnzuw5wsq.png

This is how the table finished, as you can see we were comfortably promoted the title was closer than it looked we extended on the final day of the season because Dunkeruque lost on the final day!

Star%20of%20da%20show_zpsyyepntyr.png

This is a young kid iv got from Arsenal on loan for free he is without doubt the star man at my club right now, this kid has it all and can play anywhere in an attacking mid role for me and iv also had him coming in at ST with only a few short

games played so far he has already chipped in with a couple of goals and an assist, I hope with this guy only going to get better he stays injury free and gets better and better for me as the months go on!

Board_zpsx1anbxri.png

Here is how my board are rating my performance, all I can do is keep plodding away and hope this continues as I hope to be posting about U.s Orleans this time in 9 months time :p

Enough about last season!! what about this season??

Window? iv not done to badly in the window in a sense, I stiffened up the midfield and defence making a host of changes ( maybe to many ) but I really struggled to find a striker, the days were dragging on and I was looking for that magical man who could win us points on his own! but sadly he wasn't found instead I made my first money signing on a young 21 year old from Brugge he isn't exactly class but he isn't bad either I hope I don't regret it hehe

Aims? well I'm usually one who is ambitious as I have a belief that I can work well in most situations but I need to be real as well, this club isn't ready to be promoted it isn't even ready for the top 7 in the league and with that being said my honest aims are to finish in a respectable position with obviously the higher being better, have a little cup run as last years cup was so disappointing being knocked out in the first round...

Well that's enough from me for now! hopefully be reporting back next season with good news.

Stuart - Bastia f3weq1.png

It's been a strange season at Bastia, If you has asked me at the start of the season would i have taken a 8th place finish then i would of been more than happy, but has the season went along my teams showed that on there day they could beat anyone. Half way though the season was do be our undoing as we lost 6 games in a row and lost a tone of ground on the teams above, we had a good 2nd half to the season and ended up 8 points off 3rd but that bad run really cost us any hope of a 2nd half of the season challange.

Below is a full round up of my season

f0autt.png

29o0e0w.png

Summer window

Things got off to the worst start i think ive had as manager, the club found itself in debt of 1.5 million, the board then thought it would be a good idea to to drop being a professional Football club and be a semi pro club, This also made me lose my National rep and took me down to regional and left me with a 6 key players unhappy and were not willing to sign a new deal and such left me on July 1st. With me also getting shot of the dead wood at the club i went into summer window with only 5! first team players and no player wanting to join be as i was unable to match any wage demand because of the debt.

Things were at a all time low for me but then i caught a break a new owner wanted the club, this was great news as the debt would be cleared and i would then be able to get some body's into the first team before the start of the season. The deal went though easy and the debt was wiped out ( so i thought ) and i was left with a 32k wage bill to get new players him. I wasted no time in getting who i wanted, some players are better than others but i think i did really well to bring in some tasty signing.

Below is a summer business. I won't be showing you all the players stats as i have signed 18 new after 19 leaving me on july 1st. It was a hell of a effect by my one scout and my background team who without them i wouldn't of been able to pull these kinda deals off.

30w5ndl.png

SEASON AHEAD.

Like every other season i will be looking to go up, with so many new player in it will take time for them all to gel but we have had a good start to the season, we are only 2 games in and have 4 points, would of been 6 but Fellow Clan member Bruno pulled a genie out of his lamp and must of made a wish because i still cant get over how he got a point from our game. I scored early missed a pen and hit the post and then the bar, With only 10 minutes to go Bruno's winger went to cross the ball that ended up looping over my keepers head and into the goal, UNREAL!.

Well that's you upto date and on roller Coaster of a season for me and my side. Till next time

AndyF - AS Nancy-Lorraine

So the sabbatical is over after leaving with a couple of months left of FM15 I return and head straight to the north eastern canton of Tomblaine and settle into the hot seat at ASNL under the managerial name of Pierre Seel - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Seel.

The club currently sit in 15th place (no win in the first 2 games) of the National league after being relegated in the games first season, finishing in last position after a rotten campaign. Lets not kid anyone here the club have been in decline ever since finishing 4th back in the 2007/8 season and I have real battle on my hands to get the boards expectation of gaining promotion this season.

Hopefully this will result in adding the silverware to the clubs trophy cabinet over the upcoming seasons where I will be looking to improve on the 3 x Ligue 2, 2 x French Cup, 1 x League Cup and a few other minor honors.

fm16%20asn%20honours.jpg

fm16%20asn%20league%20history.jpg

Overall the clubs facilities are one of the best in the division with good corporate and training facilities with youth facilities listed as great. Home games are played at Stade Marcel Picot which was built in the 1920s but was given a complete overall in 2003 and capacity currently stands just a tadge over 20,000. With no senior affiliate enabling us to take a few players on loan in place, I've gone to the board who have agreed to my request to find one and will be back in 2 weeks hopefully of some top clubs.

fm16%20asn%20stadium.jpg

fm16%20asn%20facilities.jpg

We have just under 200k transfer budget and around 7k spare in wages and with a couple of players being moved on we have some maneuverability in the market to bring players in.If financial projection is anything to go by the club need to squeeze every last pound out of the buying club if any players do move on to pastures new to improve our financial situation, also some backroom staff will inevitably get the chop to help the club reduce costs.

fm16%20asn%20finance%20summ%20start.jpg

So thats enough of my opening post and its time to get down to business as we start cutting costs whilst improving the squad.

Until Next Time......

Well we managed to avoid relegation without too much pressure In the end. We changed a fair bit of our tactical play, which was enough to survive, but we was not consistent enough to convince me to continue in that path next season.

LyoC6HR.png

So we was the team with the lowest wage budget in 15/16 season, and the board expected to avoid relegation. For the new season our wage budget has been cut almost in half and board want a respectable position in the top half. The news slapped us in the face, no other choice but knuckle down a get on with it, could be worse, could be in National and semi-pro.

N3YKyVa.png

The start of the season has not been great, 1 league win and 2 defeats and a cup win.

2 defeats to good sides Metz and Creteil, matches we was a bit unfortunate:

2jF39t8.png

QRdjbqJ.png

And now we face massive club Nantes which could mean 3 straight loses in the league and put us already in a position of bad moral and working with pressure. We are convinced when our tactics are fluid, with the squad we have built and a bit of self belief we can achieve what we have been asked by the board.

We will give an update about transfers and more news after this weeks sessions.

Manager: Alveré Jacques Tailler

Club: Amiens SC

Due to real life commitments, I was unable to start until the the January transfer window. I kept the team the same and we have embarked on a new attacking philosophy: a 424. Things started slow, but after a few games we began to make our mark on sides and subsequently climbed the league table. A late push for promotion was scuppered by a couple of poor results towards the end of the season, but we were coming from a fair way back. In the end, the board were happy with 6th and I'll be looking forward to a promotion push this coming season, providing work allows me to be on for most of the sessions.

DkVMGkF.png

Only the one signing this window. A left winger who was instrumental in Sean's title winning side, deemed surplus to requirements at the now Ligue 2 side. I'm short in attacking options so I'm hoping he'll slot right in.

At first glance he looks like a solid left winger and no doubt he'll get some game time there, but I'm looking for a player that score goals from attacking midfield in the central areas. Whether I end up playing him as an inside forward or attacking midfielder I have yet to decide.

uhBGlLR.png

I've also re-signed this young striker on loan, who put in some good performances for me when he wasn't on the treatment table. My hope is that he'll come good and lead the line with his gritty determined attitude combined with that high flair attribute. His technique and dribbling will need work to take full advantage of that.

So one season down! Lots and lots and lots to go! Hopefully all of them at Sedan!

This first season was quite a challenge for me... I haven't had any time to play SP, so I went in to the game blind and had to figure out the players and tactics during the first half of the season... It took a long time for us to get going... But when we did, we hit a fairly decent run...

We were predicted 2nd last, and for a long time, that was looking like a fairly accurate final position... In fact, it took a long time for us to get a win in the league, and we were only winning in the cup...

VyB8ItA.png

... until finally...

Rlarpvm.png

The main reason for the change in form was that my main AML hit a scoring streak and wound 3rd on the league top scorer...

MSnhqYo.png

The transfer window for the second season has been fairly difficult for me, like for many of the others, as almost no players wants to join us on loan, and we can't afford to get any good players... But some activity has occurred...

RrS72Ef.png

None of the new players are really anything special, neither are the ones I already have, so it will be interesting to see how we do this season...

So FM 2016 didnt start very well for after taking over Boulogne, getting start sacked near December wasnt very sure about the tactics

and having players injured didnt help. Boulogne didnt have an wages for me to be able to work on the team and i had Minimum expectations

was finish top half ... So i decided to wait till the end of the season to choose another direction Us Avranches with much better facilities,

hopefully to achieve Something this season and work from there and next season hopefully ill fight for promotion to Ligue 2 :)

AndyF - AS Nancy

After taking over at the start of the week with the club in the relegation zone we have steered ourselves away from the drop zone currently 6pts clear. We should be further clear from the likes of Bordelais, GSC and co but our away form in the first half of the season has been an absolute disaster with figures of W1 D4 L5. Strangely enough our only away win came in the last game of the week as we overturned the form books to claim a well deserved 2-0 at Vendée Herbiers who at the time were unbeaten in 9 games at home with 8 wins.

Obviously I'll be looking to turn our away form on its head for the remainder of the campaign and to maintain it at the Stade Marcel Picot were we are 4-4-1 to allow us to finish as high as possible gaining valuable HoF points as automatic promotion is, IMO but not mathematically, out of reach so I'm hoping I keep my managerial career intact at Nancy come the end of the season if we fail to fulfill the boards objectives.

Until Next Time......

After missing the first season due to commitments outside of clan I was itching to get back into it so decided to take over at AS Nancy albeit with limited amount of game time. With real life work still manic, early starts require early nights and I was warned about missing as much time as I was going to do as it hadn't gone well in season 1 for Bruno who was also hindered by missing game time.

The next few seasons will be no different either so scoring for the clans Hall Of Fame could potentially be catastrophic if I keep getting sacked every season.

Season Overview

Starting with the French Cup and an 9th round defeat at hands of Ligue 1 Valenciennes finished this years campaign.

In the league we sat in 11th place when the board decided to swing the axe after a run of 3 games without a win, the last being a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Jonas.

I haven't decided who are going to be the unlucky ones this season but with Jonas in 13th i have the following teams to choose from : Tours FC, Bourg-en-Bresse, La Berrichonne, Vendee Herbiers or SO Romorantin.

Until Next Time.....

With the club predicted to finish in 6th place I'm happy with the boards expectation with a top half finish. With me taking over with the club in 15th and hopefully keeping my job until the end of the season, again I'm looking to get some valuable points for the HoF but this may not be the case.
