ds123
For under 21s it says no player can be aged over 21, but regularly there are a number of senior players in the team.
sonata
I think you can have 3 senior players in the squad?
gunner86
Are we talking international U21 squad? Or domestic, and if so which league/club?
dllu
If you mean the English U21 (reserves) teams, I believe you can have a GK and up to three U21 players over 21 in the squad.
thomit
That's the limit for the squad list issued when playing scheduled U21 matches, meaning you are allowed to have a GK + 3 other over 21 players in the playing squad (starting, or subs). Apart from that, you can have as many over 21's as you like in the U21 team. But obviously there are different rules for different leagues.
dllu
Yes, obviously I was talking about the match squad and not the team. You can always move players around between teams - you could move all your first team players to the U18 team, they just wouldn't be eligible to play...
