Training - Help me understand it...

Recommended Posts

Isn't it easier just to ask about the issues that are unclear to you? There are users here with fantastic knowledge of the training/development side of the game and I'm sure they'll be glad to answer any questions.

Why didn't you check the big thread at the top of the forum that says Forum Rules, FAQ's & IMPORTANT LINKS.

Anyway this will answer all your questions on training;

Thanks m8 - the title of that thread didn't jump out at me saying "TRAINING HELP", so i'm sure you can excuse me for not spotting it :)

HUNT3R - general training i understand, its just the drilling down knowing who/what to train individuals on, do i go light/medium/heavy? - how long should i keep at it with each player? - should i try and train different aspects or stick with just one for the season etc....

Great post Cleon

Had a really good read and pulled all the key stuff out i need to focus on my youth career game. Going to use it to optimize my youth development as I've been leaving it to my assistant but I think I am ready to take over that detail now.

Sorry if this has been covered but I cant find a clear answer.

In the above screen-shot you can see it says 30% of time is spent on match prep (Attacking Movement)

So that leaves 70% for general training, in this case Fitness.

My question is, if I then set my striker to individual role Poacher training what is the final breakdown? 35% poacher training, 35% fitness and 30% attacking movement?

And how about if I begin training him as an AMC (new position)? would the percentages break down further?

Thanks in advance

You can train a Focus, Position and Preferred Move if you wish to, but they will eat into each other's time, rather than into general training. Individual training does NOT come out of general training - it is added together to create an overall workload
