Transfer Clause refund?

So, I noticed that when you have transfer clauses like "after league games," "after internal games" or "after league goals" they are partially added to the actual transfer budget deductions. Fair enough. However, I do wonder, if the clauses were not triggered, do I get a refund? I signed a player who, the scout didn't say is prone to injury, but has missed most of the last 2 seasons, so I will be selling him soon. He is no where near the 50 league games clause. It's a quite substantial sum. When I sell him, do I get some of my money back that was deduced when I first signed him?

The money was never spent it was just deducted from your budget.
