Fenerium Posted January 5, 2015 Share Posted January 5, 2015 If you play the Turkish league there is a rule that clubs can't have more then 5 foreign players in the starting eleven and 3 foreign player substitutes.The Turkish Football Association today announced that starting next season (2015/2016) there will be no foreign player rule and you can play as much foreign players as you want.Is it possible to put this in the game with a update? Actually there will be a foreign player rule in 2015-16 season so teams will not be able to play as many foreign players as they want, there will be limitations. Since there is no official written description of the rule yet, we have to depend on the press announcement by Turkish FA President. Roughly speaking the limitations are as follows: Teams will have a squad of 28 registered players At least 14 of these players will be "domestic" in status. A "domestic" player is a player with Turkish Passport who does not play for a foreign national team. Exception: Domestic players who already play for other national teams and are contracted to Turkish clubs will be registered as "domestic" again. No limitations regarding the number foreign players in the Match Squad. Teams will be able to field 11 foreign players and keep 3 foreign subs in a 18 player match squad. At least 2 domestic players should be developed by the club's youth ranks. (Club-grown) At least 4 domestic players should be developed by a Turkish club. Fenerium Posted January 6, 2015 Author Share Posted January 6, 2015 The limitations you mentioned are exactly wat will happen next season.But you understand that for people who play the Turkish League these new rules will be a gift from heaven because with the current rules it is very hard to keep up with other clubs in Europe.But the Turkish FA President today released the press announcement about these rules.So is it an option to integrate these new regulations with an update?Thank you.
