Ever get the feeling you just were not meant to win?

I've been on the receiving end of this - well, perhaps not to this extent. You had a bad day at the office or you were playing with an Attacking mentality. I never use Attacking - its almost completely useless. Defensive mentality seems to be a better bet for scoring goals.

46 shots but 56% possession. I'm guessing a lot of these were long shots? To only get 15 on target is what would annoy me the most.

What i would love SI to do is to CRUNCH numbers on the following:

- Shots on Target from both teams.

- Then look at % shots on targets, resulting in goals for both teams.

I think they will get a small scare, cause in most my games, i see the opponent win with only 1-2 shots on target. When i got several more.

Even with more CCCs then opponent. Just a thing to think about for SI if they have some spare time.

To the OP: It would be interesting to see the analysis tab of the shots from that match to see where these shots are coming from

Another tactic with a third of shots on target. It's a bad day, exacerbated by failing to spot the tactical imbalance and just leaving things as they are.

these where the shots that where saved. my oppositions keeper looks like he had a good game.

Just want to add that I never thought for a second that this was a bug, just saw the stats and thought it would be interesting to share.

I have the feeling I'm going to created an unwanted record.

It's only October in this season and I've already had 4 games where I've conceded 6 goals:

Chelsea (A) - 6-1

Atletico (A) - 6-1

Cardiff (A) - 6-1

Yeovil (A) - 6-2

I am slowly narrowing the margin.

We've all been there mate. Just have a look around the tactics forum and make some tweaks to improve from that match. The more stats you know about, the easier it is to figure out the problem.
