Fenech, as a Forest fan I'll try and help you as much as I can. Infact, the thread I set up on the Forest forum a couple of years ago still goes strong every couple of months and created some debate. I'll look to get it up and going again. That way you don't have to think about Forest much. I'll just double check, are you creating Forest again? I'm sure it says in the OP you are.

But for Arsenal, maybe have a look at this. Liam Brady is at number 8 and appears to be a good enough like for like replacement for Wilshere.

I'm on there under another name, but tend to only get on when the transfer window is open. there are only so many 'can he play at left back' posts i can read in one day

plus i think the forest legend squad is pretty easy. You just need the '78 era team with Pearce, Collymore, Walker... Danny Fox..

Here is an example for you of a player who was available on a Free Transfer in 2014 because he didn't make the cut of 25 in Arsenal.

This time he will be in Arsenal as a 15 year old, in the youth team. So he won't be available on a Free, as you can see he joined Arsenal at 15.

So the guarantee that he was the exact age when he joined the exact club is true.

Also he can't possible be at West Ham as he was nearly 30 when he joined them..... So Arsenal is the only option, especially when you consider that he played 475 games for Arsenal, and that is where the criteria of COMMON SENSE comes into play.

So every player is given the same level of consideration, and fully researched in every small detail.

I really like this concept. One question... What if someone suggests a new team where one of his selected players on a team is already chosen for another team? For example, if someone suggests Romario for Barcelona but he was/is already on PSV? Or Michael Laudrup on Real Madrid but you think it's more suitable to put him on Barcelona's squad?

I am open to any suggestion as to which player should be with which team.... I follow a number of criteria when selecting the player and the team.. e.g.

There is only one of every legend, so therefore the legend can only be in one of the teams.

Whichever team the player is in, they were really in that team at that age, and that is a guarantee.

The top 5% of legends of all time, will be around 24 years old and in their prime

The player will be at the youngest age possible at the first top division club they joined, if possible.

Common Sense - So take into consideration who the player played for most, and dedicated most of their career too.

Every player is researched, and tested so that the statistics are the most realistic possible.

All Legends from 1880 - 2016 are included and eligible for selection

The return of the greatest legendary managers like Brian Clough and Don Revie including the greatest European and south american managers of all time.

All squads and players are open for debate until such time as the game is released.

More Legends than in the 2014 version, including the official 100 players of all time for each specified position on the football field

So to answer your question....

Romario - Joined PSV when he was 22/23, he played over a hundred games and didn't join Barcelona until he was 27. He scored 96 times in 107 appearances for PSV. He only played 46 times for the Catalans, he falls into the criteria of coming into his prime at PSV, at still being quite young at PSV, and therefore he starts at 22/23 PSV

Michael Laudrup: This is a debatable one, I could easily have put him in Barcelona or Juventus, not real madrid as a bit too old when he joined them, but Barca and Juve already had enough great players in his position and I like the squads to be balanced in terms of playing positions, so that these guys can realistically get games, therefore he starts at 19 at Lazio which falls into the criteria as the first top club he joined at the youngest age possible...

He made 353 appearances and even scored 1 goal, in 1996 on a header in the late overtime to level against AGF, and it was actually a goal who seconds later won them the league titel. He was voted Player of the Year in 1999)

Stephan Andersen (Arrived in Brøndby at the age of 26, after failing to break through in Charlton. Made 137 appearances before moving to Evian, and eventually ending up at Brøndby's arch rivals FC Copenhagen where he still plays today. But nonetheless, still a Brøndby legend. He was voted Player of the Year in 2009)

2 Left Backs

Jens Risager (Debuted at the age of 18, and only ever played for Brøndby other than a half-season loan at Ikast fS. He made 222 appearances and scored twice)

Bjarne Jensen (Debuted at the age of 17, and only ever played for Brøndby. He made 556 appearances, and is still today the record holder for the most appearances. Yes I was reading about that, he was initially only supposed to go for one season, but ended up staying there for two seasons and in the second season, Lazio got relegated and he only scored 1 goal! I think 21 is a nice age to start off at anyway, the only other option is to start him at 18 at Brondby, which I might well do, especially if Juventus begin to look too good, as you can imagine what kind of a team they are going to end up with anyway.....

Who wouldn't want this player in their team? A long long time ago, in the same planet we are on today, before the time of the swash buckling orange total football, before the time of the 1950's Mighty Magyars, this LEGEND, scored 368 goals in 303 appearances for Hungarian Outfit Ujpest FC! More telling, is that he scored 32 times in 39 appearances for Hungary, when you realise that in those days, international friendlies and matches were very rare compared to what they are today, 39 appearances is the equivalent of at least 120 caps today and 32 goals would be closer to 100 international goals. This player was very special and it is just a shame that by the time Puskus and Co rocked up in the 50's, this guy was finishing his career. Happy Birthday GYULA Zsengeller! He would of been 100 years old today!

It will be just as good as it was in 2014 and better, it is a follow on from 2014 but it will contain the 100 greatest legends for each playing position as well and some other teams from the championship including the double winning preston north end team, yes i will probably start him at 18 at brondby.

William John Charles, CBE (27 December 1931 – 21 February 2004) was a Welsh international footballer who played for Leeds United and Juventus. Rated by many as the greatest all-round footballer ever to come from Britain, he was equally adept at centre-forward or centre-back. Butcher made his debut for Ipswich against Everton in the First Division on 15 April 1978 and over the next eight seasons would establish himself as the club's top central defender, combining leadership with great aerial ability and courage. This was soon noticed by England manager Ron Greenwood who gave him his debut in a friendly against Australia in 1980.

In 1981, Butcher was part of the Ipswich side that won the UEFA Cup under Bobby Robson and came close to their first League title since 1962, though they were pipped at the post by Aston Villa.

While playing for England in a vital World Cup qualifier in Sweden in September 1989, Butcher suffered a deep cut to his forehead early in the game. Butcher had some impromptu stitches inserted by the physiotherapist and, swathed in bandages, continued playing. His constant heading of the ball – unavoidable when playing in the centre of defence – disintegrated the bandages and reopened the cut to the extent that his white England shirt was red with blood by the end of the game. I am a Barse fans but I don`t think Messi deserve 20 dribbing,because your database have many former super star.Only in dribbing maybe he cannot do better than Matthias Sindelar,Garrincha and so on.we judge some player`s data have a differenet reference system. Zlatan`s finishing level is higher than Rooney or Torres,but can`t put on a par with Gerd Muller or Josef Bican,The highest level of finishing.According to him as a standard,we have too many 20 player, he have a embarrassed record in The Champion League,So I still think his finishing is`t deserve the highest level during the football history

Well Zlatan is 23 and very much in his prime and when Zlatan was in his prime, his finishing was at a very high level, but I agree that 20 is probably too high for him when compared to the likes of Puskas so will bring it down a notch.
